Pinkberry has the best froyo hands down. Their flavors are not overly sweet like many other places and all taste like YOGURT! I love their tart and seasonal flavors. They also have tons of toppings. Their service and store are nice and inviting.
It reminds me of Yogen Fruz – white clean background with bright fresh colours and with a minimalist look. There was a small lineup. When it was my turn, the young girl behind the counter looked zoned out – looking out the window, oblivious to her environment. I looked back at Sheepie and shrugged. I waited in front of her as she continued to either ignore me or daydream. As soon as power turned back on her, she was a bit of a robot, saying phrases like they were prerecorded. Since it was my first time at Pinkberry, I wasn’t sure of the process and was a bit rushed by her unsympathetic behavior.I got a Fresh Fruit Bowl (parfait) $4.75 with 130 calories. The menu is simple, but a bit confusing. It would have been nice to have the heading ‘Yogurt Flavours’ at the top. The first ‘flavour’ is green tea, with a photo of a clear glass of green tea. I immediately took that column as a ‘drink’ section and didn’t even think about the rest. The rest seemed to be photos of ‘toppings’, so I didn’t carefully check.
My one and only frozen yogurt place. ❤️
And yes I have been to Menchies, Qoola, & Yogen Fruz.
Pinkberry has been my favourite since the first time I had their original! It actually tastes like frozen yogurt. What it should taste like.
I'll just base this on the original flavour. I won't get into the rest of the amazing flavours they have!
Menchies - Well I can't even describe what it was, and that's only if they even have original. Been there a handful of times and they either don't have original or if they do, it does not taste like it.....at all.
Yogen Fruz - The original here is more like a soft serve ice cream.
Qoola - The original here tastes like a sorbet.
So, I wouldn't go back to Menchies. I would go back to Yogen Fruz if I felt like having an ice cream that was named after a healthier option. The chocolate flavour can pass as a chocolate cone! And I wouldn't go back to Qoola.
Really good. Line-up out the door in the summer says it all- we go here once a week all year around at the children's request and we look forward to it as well- fresh ingredients and perfectly sweetened (i.e.: not too much) frozen yoghurt- very good- 'nuff said- :)
Good but not like the stores in the US
Best froyo around. My usual is the original topped with strawberries, kiwis and a bit of chocolate shavings. Amazing!
Froyo Goodness. Who doesn't love froyo?! I love their coconut frozen yogurt with cheesecake bits. Yum!
I love their coconut yogurt, yum!!!!!
Really yummy! I love the coconut flavour-its creamy and tangy but not overly sweet. Love the fresh fruit toppings! And you gotta love the low calorie count-it's a treat without any guilt!
Froyo PLUS. I don't know what makes Pinkberry that much better than the competing frozen yogurt franchises, but its great! The yogurt flavours are more pungent and the fruit toppings are freshly cut (not frozen like Qoola).
The interior was bright and sassy with a fairly roomy feel (although it's a small store) . Also the workers were all kind and perky, who seemed to enjoy where they were working. Makes me want to apply one day! :)
