I go here all the time and the staff is always friendly and welcoming! On a first name basis with most of the baristas and they're very knowledgable about coffee and know how to do latte art extremely well. The place has a homey feel which I love and it's always accompanied by a calm atmosphere regardless of the number of people inside. Has been and continues to be my favourite cafe in KW!
This place was featured in the communityEidition.ca newspaper, and so far has had amazing reviews. Made a stop by today and I like the place. It's very artistic, cozy, and even kinda jazzy. Comfy seats located inside, large variety of whiskey available, and variety of papers for visitors to sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee while reading. Scones and brownie are not the greatest and we're both very very hard, but overall good cafe experience and good coffee.
It is a little bit hard to find. Only DVLB is written on the door. However its cute inside and coffee is really good. I taste one of the chocolate biscuits. It taste good too.
Uptown Waterloo has a fair number of quaint and exquisite coffeehouses, many of which do not advertise their stores; they simply believe in their services, food, and loyal customers’ word of mouth. So here I write, as a new loyal customer. TLDR: Exquisite, yet bold and complicated. The ambiance of the cafe sparked my desire to revisit with a book, a pen and a notebook. With a cup of loose leaf tea (and maybe dessert), it’s the right place to relax, chat and get inspired.

Absolutely the best coffee in Kitchener Waterloo. There only problem with the cafe is the size and pricing, you'll end up paying 5$ for a cappuccino so be prepared.

A superb little café!. I've been to DVLB a few times now. I don't know what makes this rather invisible place such a gorgeous café, but it certainly is unique. Large communal tables allow for meetings and homeworks. The lattes are delicious every time. Just a nice, relaxing spot. I wish they had a bit more to eat. Highly recommended!

Best Coffee Shop in Uptown. Absolutely love this place! the ambiance is great and so are is the service and coffee. Products range from Americano to Pour overs and from great snacks to a wide assortment of scotch and whisky. The price is normal for a coffee shop of its type and I really enjoy stopping by in the morning for to pick up my morning start up latte.
Best coffee in KW.. Hands down best place to get a latte or drip coffee in KW, the atmosphere is nice, coffee is amazing. They serve Detour coffee, which is roasted in Dunas, ON.
