Yummy! You have to have lunch here. The burrito is the best in my opinion.
Bulgogi sandwich had me like MMM MMM MMM. Great people, great food.
Great place to get lunched up. Seating is great for singles with long tables and a bar/bench along the window. Looking forward to their future licenced deck.
Bowls are all very tasty and make for quick lunches. One day I'll try the congee!
Dak is spectacular. If you love a bite to eat that is sweet, spicy and full of character - definitely the right spot.
I found everything on the menu to be reasonably priced. The staff is always cheery and a delight to chat with.
The staff are always friendly and very accommodating. The tea selection is a bit non standard but I don't mind that. Everything is tasty, although I am partial to their breakfast offerings.
On Wednesday and Friday they have donuts.
I was curious about Dak as from the outside it looks like the building with shared office space. I noticed someone come out of the building with a great smelling sandwich in their hand. Instead of interrupting someone who really should eat that sandwich instead of answering a question by me, I popped my head in and asked what the customer ordered. It was the avocado sandwich, so I ordered it because I would have craved it all day if I didn’t. When I got the sandwich, which was relatively cheap for downtown, I took in the smell and devoured the whole thing in what seemed like a minute. I was extremely satisfied. No complaints from this guy.

dak is an essential part of my daily routine! it's a warm, welcoming place with delicious food and friendly staff.
the menu is small but refined, and the staff is incredibly accommodating - i'm a vegetarian, and they are always willing to alter their standard recipes to meet my dietary preferences. they're also careful to rotate gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan baked goods, which are reliably mouth-watering. (they also regularly stock empire donuts, for those of us who like that kind of thing!)
i have it on good authority that their coffees are excellent, but for the tea addicts like me, they've recently expanded their tea selection and their london fogs are addicting!
I have made a mission of trying every breakfast sandwich I could find in Victoria over the past year, and I wrapped up my list this morning. I can now say with full confidence that Dak has the best breakfast sandwich in Victoria. The gochu candied bacon, sesame seed bun, and perfectly fried egg make the ideal combination. Their only con is that they're only open on weekdays!
Wow! What a little gem on Fort Street! Amazingly authentic flavours with a unique and simple presentation. Add on sauces were delicious. Friendly staff, slick decor, great casual food stop.
I work nearby Dak and since they've opened I eat there about 2-3 times a week. The food is delicious. If you like the combination of sweet, spicy and savoury... go to Dak! The staff are friendly, talkative and always in a good mood. With a special korean bbq twist, it's hard to go wrong.
I would recommend the breakfast sandwich and the Dak bowl (loaded with their in-house sauces). Always accomodating and will go that extra mile to make sure you happy and full.
I have been for coffee lots and it's always good. I finally had a chance to try the lunch and it is great! So fresh and delicious (I had a rice bowl). Keep it up!
Their gochu chili sauce is so good! The rice bowls are delicious and very filling, the salad is also excellent if you want something a little lighter.
