I hadn't been to redbarn in awhile, as I thought they were pretty pricey. I was pleasantly surprised that they're prices are very comparable with larger stores now! I'll now be doing a lot more shopping there now
Woah woah woah! These protein chocolate bars are super tasty with 19 grams of protein! It beats anything I've ever tried before! Some protein bars seem almost like a chore to eat, this one I couldn't put down and wanted to eat every single bit! Definitely a gem and in such a great grocery store! I will have to see if my local stores have them or request!
This is a great little grocery store. Good deals on the necessities and some specialty items. Their made to order sandwiches are very good and I love that they have a gluten free option.
Made-to-order sandwiches are fantastic with so many options to pick from. With restaurant prices so high everywhere, a huge wrap sandwich for $10.99 that we took to a picnic table a few blocks away overlooking the ocean was a real bargain.i
We love this store and the staff are terrrific. As an ex-grocery clerk who used to ensure items were paid for, I wish they'd hire folks with some size and some mettle, to prevent blatant shoplifting theft.

The five stars are for the fresh, made to order wraps! It was Sunday evening and I couldn’t find a decent place to eat (which was also open) within walking distance of my hotel. I was aiming for Thrifty Foods, but stumbled upon Red Barn and was so very pleasantly surprised. Didn’t have time to shop for groceries so can’t comment on that, but the custom wrap (can also be a sandwich, or in a bun) was huge, fresh, tasty and made by one of their wonderful employees. I wanted to go back for another wrap, but I was there for only three days and didn’t make it back. I wish they had Red Barn Market in Metro Vancouver. Since they don’t have it here (for now?), I will make it a point to include a stop at one of the Vancouver Island locations next time I visit.
Only went in the one time. U can pick up some groceries but I went in there for a sandwich. it was amazing I asked for everything and I kinda regretted it at first because it was so tall stacked with veggies but damn it was sooooo good.
Good place to get a made to order sandwich. It's a small grocery store but you can find most of what you want.
Nice store within walking distance from the wharf. Clean and neat inside with a good selection of healthy food. The cashier even had a few magic tricks for us! I should have checked the raspberries tho. When I got back to the motel I noticed a number of them were mouldy.
