I'm not super big on meats but this place does it right. A great variety of flavours and I've heard that they make their sausages and things in-house. I recommend this for anyone who's into flavourful hotdogs and/or burgers
do you make lasagna? i do. this is the place i get my hot italian sausage from to make the sauce. you can get it without the casting too. great stuff.
We walked in and were very confused. The lady behind the bar said they were closed but the patio was open. There was no clear direction as to this info or even how to get to the patio. The stairs were hidden in the back corner, by the washrooms, we had to hunt for the stairs (I felt like I was in a 'where's Waldo' book trying to find the stairs). Finally we get there and place an order to go. The waitress was great, she offered us drinks while we waited for our food. We ordered the sampler. Once home, we tried and rather enjoyed the delitefulness of the flavours. We will for sure be back
My wife and I were walking by on the way to the car and decided to get the sampler to go. Staff were polite and prompt despite only having been open a few minutes, even offered waters while we waited. The patio is comfortable but being 6.5 feet tall I found the interior a bit cramped. We tried the Bratwurst, Sweet Italian, and Polish...they were all wonderful. A return is definitely required.
Looks are deceiving when walking into this place. Literally night and day from the bottom floor to the top patio. Very nice on the patio though and they have a good happy hour that's worth checking out for a sampler and some cheap beer. They also have some of the best key lime pie I've ever had! Random but try it.
We ordered a couple Double Gin and Tonic's, which were $6 each during Happy Hour, and some Lettuce Wraps ($14). The filling for the wraps was Thai chicken sausage sautéed with a blend of veggies, crispy noodles & a chili sauce. It packed a great punch of spicy flavours, quite hot and powerful on its own, but perfect for being served with fresh lettuce for wrapping. However I wish they had served us iceberg lettuce leaves instead of romaine. For salad, I definitely prefer romaine over iceberg lettuce; but for wrapping, the young romaine leaves are too narrow. As we were not able to finish all the filing, we hated to see the rest go to waste.
Great Food & Nice Staff. Spent Sunday afternoon here watching the hockey game and sampling the menu. The food was great! We tried one of the famous sausages (Chaurice was the name I think). Was great...spicy and served on a nice soft bun. We also had the Mac N Cheese Balls, Pulled Pork Poutine and the Prawn Lollipops. All three were outstanding! The staff were great...super nice and always on the ball with drink orders. Had a great time here!
Decent Pub Food and Atmosphere. We were seated quickly and service was prompt.
Since I was here for the Poutine Challege, I got the Sweet Smokehouse Poutine and it was pretty spicy but otherwise tasted good, fries were quite thin.
Also had the Sweet Italian Sausage and it was alright, sausage was kind of dry and the fries were actually regular sized compared to the poutine.
Sausage Fest. Love the veggie sausage here. All meat eating friends love the regular sausage. This is the place for sausage. It gets loud in this place, but if you like a loud sausage fest, this is it.
Fun Place!. Went here on a Tuesday night, and the place was packed! Clientèle kind of made me feel old, but there was a good vibe. Sat upstairs and had very attentive service. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. Would go back with a few more friends to up the average age ;)
