Taco Luis is known for cheap Tex Mex eats. The prices are reasonable here for mall food. I recommend the Taco salad, hard shell tacos, and the ever so classic mexi potato fries. Their condiment station has complementary salsa, regular or spicy.
My girlfriend and I finished shopping and it was the end of the week, tgif. We haven't had Taco Luis in 2 years and I can vouch to say they have been positively consistent. I would definitely keep coming back.
I quite enjoyed my little experience of Taco Luis. I tried other places in the food court and I thought this one was my next little experiment. To my surprise, it was good. I had ordered the 10 inch burrito combo which came with the tater tots and a drink, all for $7. It didn't look very big, but I was full, halfway through my burrito. For food court food, I thought it was one of the healthier choices. I would definately go back.
Taco Luis is known as a food stall with cheap and cheerful Tex-Mex eats. There are two locations locally: one at Richmond Centre and the other at Oakridge. I was always curious about Taco Luis since I would see people coming away with rather mouthwatering Tex-Mex food. I tried Taco Luis a few times over the last while and here is a review of my experiences.
Pretty decent hard shell tacos and super soft chicken burritos with fresh ingredients. If you're looking for a tasty bite in a food court, you can do a lot worse than Taco Luis.
It's been about 4 years since I last visited here. While they've got some tasty burritos and tacos, I always gravitate towards the taco salad. The shell is perfectly crispy so you can pull it apart and eat it with the filling. It's tough to see inside the shell because it's so deep, but they have lots of fillings in here.
Found out recently this outlet was here. Great to see this franchise expanding from the original location. The chicken burrito is just as good as the Richmond location. The only reason I rate this one lower is because their salsa was watery. Was like dipping my taters in Franks hot sauce.
Good deals for the burrito. Luis the owner is quite funny. Burritos are packed filled with vegetables and beef or chicken. The ladies that work there give way too less, atleast half of what luis gives.so when you go look for luis
Surprise. The food is warmer, fresher and tastier than the original location in richmond. don't eat here if you're looking for mexican flavours. it's a chinese take on tex-mex fast food.
Quality, Freshness, Service, Low Price, Enthusiasm, Taste. A go to place when you can't think of what to eat. The beef or chicken burritos are my favourite.
Simply awesome. Continuing on the Taco Luis tradition at Oakridge Mall, Mr. Luis himself has moved from the confines of Lansdowne to a more upscale joint.
Atmosphere: The front-end is brighter and prominent than ever with bright colors and snazzy neon lights to match his personality. I couldn't help but notice his infectious personality as I approached the food court. It was surprising to see he had moved.

Cleanliness: Really clean.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Service: The owner is bubbly and gets the job done. He also has helpers, who are usually more tame. He'll give you lots of fillings.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Food: Giant portions. You'll be full after a 6, 8 or 10 inch burrito. You can also get Mexi-fries with that as a special for less than $10. It is a steal.
The last time I had the Mexi-fries they were on the soggy side. They are usually golden crispy.
The homemade salsa that once had a ton of onion and zest in it is now gone. It is now plain tomato with a touch of onion. I found it on the watery side. Please bring the old recipe back!!! It was so good that I drank them as shots.

Overall: One of the best deals in the food court.
