We got the chicken poutine and mango curry chutney and chili chutney. The poutine was good,the chicken was tender and flavorful, the gravy was good and the fries were good too. Overall a great place to try Canadian poutine for visitors , tourists and locals. As for the dips they were what we would call aioli rather then chutney but they were good none the less. We liked mango curry better.

As I walked by this poutine restaurant many times, I would love to try their poutine. Here I ordered a small chicken poutine. Who took my order was probably the owner of the restaurant. She was very nice and friendly. Her service was very well even though this restaurant was like a fast food place.
The poutine was very "Canadian" and local. Although I ordered a small chicken poutine, the portion was quite big and filling. I was full the whole afternoon after eating the poutine by myself. I should have shared it with a friend. The gravy tasted great; the chicken was actually marinated by some curry sauce or powder; and there was big chunks of cheese. There were some salt, black pepper, vinegar, and other spices that I could add to the poutine as well. All the ingredients matched well with the fries, so it was called chicken poutine. The only downside was that I was very thirty after eating the poutine.
Overall, I had a good eating experience here. If I would go back for fries, I would order their Fritz with their special dips.
Poutine is certainly my go-to comfort food and guilty pleasure. In Downtown Vancouver, I have tried several poutineries (La Belle Patate, Mean Poutine, Smoke’s and Frites) but Fritz European Fry House has got to be one of my favourites next to La Belle Patate. Located in the Granville Entertainment district, Fritz is a small poutinerie with limited seating and a walk up window. It opens late (ie, closes at 4 am Friday and Saturday) so it’s definitely for perhaps some “drunken noms.”
I visit Fritz each time I visit Vancouver - even had it everyday 4x in a row. Make sure to add extra cheese. Makes a huge difference. LOVE their original poutines!

The poutine is amazing, they've got fresh crispy fries, with great tasting cheese curds! The prices may be a bit high, but it is delicious!! You have a number of options for dipping sauces as well! Try the Jalapeño Mustard, you won't regret it! We probably have to say its the best poutine in downtown Vancouver.
The hot dog – the bun was soft and warm and encompassed the sausage which tasted like a regular hot dog so it was okay. The poutine – the fries were crunchy and tasted like potatoes, the gravy was just the right consistency and very peppery. The cheese curds were good and melted nicely – nice and squeaky too
I'm on a personal mission to try every poutine that Metro Vancouver has to offer, yet Fritz manages to remain at the top of my "poutine go-to" list thus far.
Hard not to Like. In case you haven't figured out yet that I love street food, let there be no ambiguity. A place like this is right up my alley. The fries were excellent but the magic is i the dipping sauces... All I can say is that you need to try them to see what I mean. Great food all around. and the prices are really very, very reasonable.

Do you have a hankering for some fries, gravy and cheese curds in the late hours of the night into the wee hours of the morning? Fritz is open late and is a great way to satisfy your itch for some poutine. It's not particularly cheap, but the fries are cooked perfectly and you can never go wrong with poutine anyhow.
The absolute best poutine I have had the chance to try. The gravy is savory and smooth. Cheese curds are awesome. Best of all, the fries stay crispy even all the way at the bottom while covered in gravy. Just AWESOME.

Only recommendation I’d make is to have some pre-set poutine combinations made by your lovely team!

Been here twice already and would definitely be going again. They make the fries in front of you so that it's fresh and crispy and their gravy is to die for! The portion sizes are really good and even a small one can be shared by 2 people if you are looking for a light bite. My personal favorite is the pulled pork topping and would recommend others to try that as well. Their dips are also really nice!
Perfect spot for a late night snack after the bars! My first time having poutine here, and it didn’t disappoint. The gravy and cheese curds were delicious and the fries weren’t soggy.
I do love the gravy at Fritz. The fries are nice and crispy, and the gravy has a strong pepper flavor and a great texture, which seeks the deal for me.
The cheese isn't the absolute best, but it does work well (good texture, but not squeaky on my last visit).
This is my favorite poutine restaurant, one that I crave more than anything else. It is great to get an order and then go for a wander while munching on that magnificent taste experience.

The poutine here is definitely worth a try. I’m from Montreal and it’s the best I’ve found on the west coast. Very tasty and good portions. Just make sure to call the place before going because they were closed early despite the times displayed. Disappointed wasn’t able to get more.
