When I was a Langara student.... I used to come to Victoria Restaurant before classes and sometimes after for their super cheap breakfasts and semi moderately priced lunches. Usually closed by 4:00pm, I quickly rush from Langara to eat.

The never changing decor of old and dusty world, it's a great little ma and pa place. Owned by a nice Chinese family. It's a great place to eat.

I would only go here because it's the only diner/breakfast place along Victoria Drive. Their breakfast portions are huge as whatever breakfast menu you order, they come with a large portion of hashbrowns and 2 slices of toast. The food tasted decent. It wasn't terrible and it wasn't excellent but it was fine for the affordable price you pay. The service seemed pretty friendly. Overall, I say this is not a bad place.

One of our favourite places to get a quick and cheap breakfast is Victoria Restaurant on Victoria Drive near 49th Avenue. Often hidden by buses stoping for a time check, this tiny old school diner is a diamond in the rough.
