One of my favorite places for drinks and this is one of the best places to try a variety of gin and tonics. My favorite is the Watchdog G&T (it's light and fruity). I've also tried the Juniper G&T and the Bear Paw G&T, both are also great but not as fruity as the Watchdog. Bear Paw has a lot of ice with it, which I'm not a huge fan. Overall, you can't go wrong with a bar that uses Fever Tree brand tonic :)
good place to hang around and doing chit chat. not to crowded. when i wanna order some beer, the waiters so nice he gave me tester for me. and the complementary water, everytime the glass closed to empty he always refill it. good services
Atmosphere: It felt loud and the chair I sat in reminded me of an uncomfortable lawn chair. The whole place had a posh vibe but the lawn chairs. Bottom line: We came here for the charcuterie board and it felt underwhelming. It was my first ever and I was expecting quite a bit for the $23. The shoulder deli meat was nice, grainy mustard was tasty, and the pickled veg was a nice touch. But the Tuna risotto... Tuna was good, the risotto was meh and it was a pricey dish. Highlights of the night? Probably the drinks, Grapefruit Mule was really good but their Gin Old Fashioned is a pass.

October 28, 2017 · by JuliaEats · Beautiful interior and friendly service. I was here for happy/dinner and I’ll probably be back to try out their late night menu also! Food wise
I happened to stop by at Juniper for a beer after traipsing around Chinatown on a hot afternoon. The place has a huge list of unique cocktails, a pretty decent wine list, and also a handful of craft beers. I ended up having two beers and, after perusing the menu, I decided to come back for a meal…
There's tons of great food and shopping in this area. Juniper is where you go for craft cocktails and late night eats. You MUST try their decadent cheese trays. I'd never had fish charcuterie but I'd kill to have it again!
My pick this year for my annual birthday dinner with Fannypack was Juniper Restaurant in Chinatown. I was intrigued with their huge gin cocktail menu and Fannypack sure sounded excited when I suggested the place so off we went!. Juniper Restaurant bar side Juniper Restaurant dining room
Juniper is a unique cocktail bar & restaurant on Keefer street in Chinatown. They have an amazing selections of creative hand crafted cocktails with focus on gin and tonics by Shaun Layton (former head bartender at L'Abbatoire). This is a must go bar & restaurant for gin lovers, you cannot go wrong here! Dishes were tasty and well presented. Decent price and good service.
We were searching for a fancier place for a celebratory dinner when we walked past Juniper in Chinatown. The restaurant was in the gentrified part of Chinatown and was very popular and fully booked. Luckily for us they were able to squeeze us in since someone didn’t show up for their reservation. ✌️
We were looking for a reverse happy hour destination. That is when a restaurant or a bar has regular happy hour specials for after work (3pm to 6pm), and then again from late to close (10pm to 2pm). We googled and found a blogger listing her top favourite picks. When we got there we were sad to learn that this didn’t excited. There were no late night drink and food specials, and we weren’t getting anything for less by coming here after dinner. But given how lovely everything looked and how happy all those that were seated looked, we decided to stay anyway.
Amazing cocktails whether you're a gin fan or not! Server was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. Something for everyone from carnivore, to vegan, to celiac! Appreciates all the options and great dessert selection. Great atmosphere for girls' night or date night. Can't wait to go back.
Amazing spot! Food is fresh and exciting! Cocktails are also pretty great. Had the rum cake which wasn't great but everything else was amazing. Service is friendly and fast and their vegan dishes are very tasty. Will definitely be back!
The cocktails here were really outstanding! But what surprised me was that the food was super yummy too! We had the pork belly, bison and scallop which were all really delicious. The cheesecake we felt was really well balanced and tasty. The only think i would not recommend is the bread which at $9 for 3 slices of bread and 2 pretzel sticks that were just mediocre, it was really overpriced.
This place is located in the new trendy part of China Town, well what is left of the 10 stores in China Town. Food is quite good but there is direct correlation in prices. service was also quite good. I would say if your going here with a friend look to spend $70-100. I would say this is a perfect spot to grab a drink and lay low in the dark ambience. The server was super awesome, she heard it was someone's bday at my table and presented them with a deconstructed apple pie. High five for apple pie
Amazing taste of every cocktail! Wide selection with all kinds of ingredients you can imagine. And menu is very helpful, explaining every details in cocktail, helping customer to choose.
We recently decided, that after years of focusing on finding the perfect Craft beer...that we truly miss a great refreshing cocktail. We had walked by Juniper before and decided to check it out. The atmosphere and decor is super chill and inviting. My girlfriend has recently gone Vegan so finding good options can be difficult. We had the Vegan board and their made in house breads. Absolutely fantastic. Now to the drinks...Gareth is a genius when it comes to his development of the extensive cocktail menu. We sampled all of the G&T's and then had him mix up a couple of new concoctions. He puts on quite the show, while engaging the patrons. Michael the manager between running orders to the tables still took the time to introduce himself..Well done... we'll be back.
