Went here for the first time this weekend and was really impressed with the service and family friendly atmosphere. Their cinnamon buns are hands down the best I've ever had! Will be back to try more!
The staff and concept of this cafe/bakery are so delightful. GERMAN PRETZELS GERMAN PRETZELS GERMAN PRETZELS.... and might I add- GERMAN PRETZELS
All the amenities for toddlers!. They had an unusual rush and their baker was sick the day we went in, so they were very low or out of most things, so I didn't get to try their pretzels. The toddlers split a kid's sandwich ($3) and had water in provided sippy cups. I had a London Fog ($3.50) and a white chocolate scone ($1.75). My friend had herbal tea and another scone. My food was delicious. I loved the little play area, and I extra extra loved the super clean and roomy bathroom, with a large changing table, and a little step stool to help smaller kids reach the sink. I'll definitely be back.
Amazing!. Have been stalking the place as they were building and opening and so glad I went in. The breads are to die for and the chocolate buns and other treats are wonderful too. Friendly people and so cool to have a kids play section. If you're looking for feel-good comfort food and a tasty drink, this is the place for you.
Apple Strudel. Apple strudel was retarded good. Will be back once they iron out the service kinks!
Delicious baking. Just went, opening day! They are still working out some minor issues, but WOW! I'm not big on danishes but I had the most delicious danish I've ever eaten. Not too sweet, filled with a very delicate custard with tender flaky crispy pastry. They have mostly sourdough breads with different flavours (apricot and carrot, par example), which you can order in the morning as a bun with butter. Good coffee, too!
Can't wait to try a lunch time sandwich
