Great place to have a quick bite during lunch or on my way home in the evening! Their menu allows me to create my own meal combo just the way I like it. The Manager told me that they source their ingredients locally, and their meat supplies are Hallal and of a high grade (cage free chicken, AA beef, Ocean wise prawns). So it's tasty and healthy, can't go wrong with that! The front staffs are always full of smiles and attentive. Kudos!
My bf and I love to eat healthy and clean. We tried fresh bowl and have been regulars since. You can choose to have brown/ white rice or noodles, you can also choose one of their delicious sauces and between different proteins. It's tough to find delicious food which is also healthy, fresh bowl has it all!
Fresh Bowl has been around for several years now and serves South East Asian-inspired eats that is affordable, fast and convenient. With two locations in Vancouver (Gastown and Yaletown), Fresh Bowl is a hit with the lunch-hour crowd in Downtown. I have visited Fresh Bowl in Yaletown twice and here is a review of my experiences.
I had the mixed rice bowl with green curry and prawns. The flavour was good and the ingredients were fresh. However, the portion could have been larger and the spice level could have been higher. It'd be better if you could choose your spice level! Also, I was disappointed that they stopped making roti half an hour before closing time.
Generous portion, coconut rice is awesome. Great flavors and good variety.
Tastey Food. I love this place. Each time I go I love it even more. The food is flavorful and aromatic. Yes a bit pricey but the quality of the food is worth it. If you want good Malaysian food try this place out.
Great. Beautiful look, and comfortable atmosphere. The service was great, very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. I recommend it for everyone.
Healthy & Delicious. Beef rendang is delicous - great cut of meat. Mee goreng is perfect - al-dente noodles in a nice flavorful sauce. I like Asian food but find it usually greasy and unhealthy, leaving me feeling uncomfortable after a meal hours later. The food here is flavorful while leaving me totally comfortable - no msg, artificial ingredients and lots of vegetables. I will be back! Probably cheaper Asian eats elsewhere but not willing to pay the price with my health. Healthy and flavorful!
Fresh, Tasty and Great Value. We've walked past this place a few times and went in for lunch yesterday and chatted to the owner who asked us what level of spiciness we liked and guided us very well.
I had the sambal and my wife had the thai green curry. We also got a roti canai.
All the food was great, fresh, hot, tasty and lots of it. The roi was awesome - fresh, crispy and not greasy.
We'll be returning
We thought the portion sizes would be small (got it to go) but it was incredibly filling and delicious. recommend the beef rendang, competes with banana leaf
