we LOVE this place!!! Firstly, we love the concept of a rice burger, a healthier choice. It’s actually really filling too. We normally have the rice burger with spicy pork and it’s so tasty!!! The owners are really nice people. We have a little boy, so we asked for a kid-sized bibimbob and they made it for him!! It was very kind of them to do so. We would normally go for Kobob most of times when we try to eat outside. Highly recommended to try!!
love this place, delicious burger, toasted rice crunchy on the outside soft on the inside. Perfect rice burger :D and a nice atmosphere to boot! :)
Exceeds expectation in terms of fastfood business.
Food was excellent and was easier to eat than I thought.
The burgers were well firm made. Also, a wrap around the burger helped me to keep my hands clean and prevented any foods dripping. I am not a burger guy, but this place is a different story. If you are sick of club sandwich, this is "the" place to go.
This place quickly and easily became one of my favourite places to grab a quick meal to take home.
I personally dig the interior, while a little small and short on dine in seating, it feels homey and quite welcoming. [A good place for take out, or for a quick sit down dine experience]
First time I ordered I was a bit confused; it was new food, so it was to be expected. I tried a kobob burger the first time. Second time I tried the rice bowl, it felt like I got a bit less rice in the rice bowl; i think it was my brain tricking me because all the garnish was on top of the rice instead of in a bun. Then I tried a fried kobob burger and now I only order one thing; a spicy chicken kobob burger, fried, with lettuce, and an egg, no radish.
The staff have always been very kind and welcoming. They are fantastic at what they do and quickly memorized my order! Not to mention the food is incredibly affordable and I personally find portion sizes are great.
I would 100% recommend this place to anyone willing to try it out!
Good spot for a quick bite.
There aren't many seats for dining in nor is there a restroom, so take out is the better option. Very polite staff, you can tell they're passionate about the food and their customers, it's definitely a nice touch to have such friendly service.
I tried the kimchi pork rice burger, it was quite spicy and the flavours were big but I felt it was missing something. I probably wouldn't order it again, maybe a rice bowl next time.
The concept is unique but very messy and I ended up eating half of the burger with a fork lol.
Straight to the point, this place is a quick, reasonably priced bite to eat that actually fills you up. I had the soy chicken burger, and will definitely be back to try more from the menu. The crispy rice bun is a touch bland, but that's just because there's an explosion of Asian flavours waiting as you bite into it. It's a bit on the salty side, but the addition of a few extra veggies remedies that, while adding a refreshing crunch.
I was a little disappointed I couldn't share the experience with my gluten-free husband. Although most of the ingredients are gf, the sauces are not. I think this could easily be fixed with a gf tamari soy sauce (or something of the like), but for now, I'll just have to enjoy solo.
I recommend placing an order to go - although cute, the place is small and gets cramped fast.
You know at first glance, you would think it's gluten free rice burgers. I didn't think they would actually form a bun shape made out of rice! My girlfriend wanted to try it out and to be honest, I wasn't really excited too.
We stepped inside and wow its a cute little place. We also saw a lady taking a picture of a family while we were deciding on what to get. It's a very family friendly place. I decided to get the spicy pork rice burger. My girlfriend didn't know what to get so she randomly chose the tuna burger. Prices are VERY reasonable here and service is amazing, very friendly.
Ok food comes, wow there's weight to the burger. This is were I was blown away, no buns, rice formed into buns... Pretty cool!
My spicy pork burger is AMAZING. Good amount of spice, solid flavors, and man what a good job on wrapping it up. It wasn't as messy as I thought it would be because of the wrap job. The tuna was alright, but most likely my girlfriend will order the beef or pork next time.
We absolutely loved it. Our meals were very comforting and above all, gluten free. They can do vegetarian as well, so no worries you veggie folks. I'll definitely come back again and again. The only downside is that there is no public washroom, which is fine. Great grab and go place. Take a walk to Olympic village and enjoy the sun over your kobob.
Highly recommended
Went with my husband for a quick lunch, we both had the "bibimbob" it was incredibly delicious! We had it with the Bulgogi and it was perfect. One of the best places for a quick to go meal, two thumbs all the way up!
Pretty creative idea for a burger! I like their originality. I tried three of the burgers and the bibimbap as well. The spicy pork burger and the bulgogi burger were both great but the kobob burger was a little disappointing. The canned tuna inside the burger was not very appealing. Also, the bibimbap was not very good and lacked good sauces. But I must say the prices were extremely afforable and a plus one for the originality.
This was the first time I had a "burger" with rice bun. Very interesting. I had the spicy pork, which was great. The price is good, but the place is small, and it seemed they are short on staff.
Stumbled upon this little Main Street joint.. this place doesn't have a lot of seating. We ordered the Bulgogi burger. It came with a lot of rice that was lightly seasoned with nori flakes. The real flavour came from meat: sweet and savory.
Not sure. We weren't sure about the whole rice burger thing but... Oh my god we got thee spicy pork and it was so awesome. I will be back
