Date night with my Gift of Life Shirley loves going to eat! Amazing service good food
I wrote a review on Sal Y Limon three years ago when we first tried this place, so I thought I’d write a revisit post. We’ve been here countless times since my first post!
Best tacos, burritos and quesadillas I’ve had outside Mexico, which we go to every year.
We come here for dinner as a family 2-3/month. Staff are friendly, their operations are sustainable and food is fantastic, flavour full and reasonably priced. Highly recommend
Holy lineup Batman!!! This place was highly recommended by a friend and she definitely wasn't wrong i ordered the Barbacoa De Cordero(Roast lamb Burrito) and 2 Carne Asada with cheese(Grilled beef Tacos) the burrito was extremely delicious and very large the tacos was very dry and bland. I would recommend this place the service was very friendly and attentive please note this place gets crazy busy bring your appetite and some patience
One of the best burrito spots in Vancouver. So amazing. It’s the real deal. Be prepared to wait occasionally but damn it’s worth the wait. Only wish there was one in Hastings Sunrise area

• located along Kingsway close to Mount St. Joseph hospital; also where Bale sandwiches is
• parking is extremely challenging in this area, I suggest to park on the side streets and just walk towards this place
• there always a line up in this resto so get ready to order what you want so it will be swift
• I love the fact that they have HORCHATA, my favourite drink. Traditionally made with rice milk, sugar & cinnamon. It comes in 2 flavours here: Cinnamon and Coconut. I have yet to try the Coconut, but will do next time
• Nachos: its huge, good for 2-3 people to share. It is good but I preder my sauces on the side and bot drizzles all over. I find this saltier than usual though. I would order the Jalapeños on the side too, its a bit salty for me
• Torta, Carne Asada: pretty good! I love the soft bun, flavour of the beed that is perfectly cooked and not overcooked. Again, I would probably ask the Jalapeños separately as it makes my torta saltier
• Super Veggie Burrito: super good, huge: I suggest to share as I don’t have that large capacity lol
• sauces from mild to spiciest available by the window, try not to waste a lot, just get what you need
• the place is packed, theres a kid’s play area which is a nice touch.

Very good food, affordable prices with a bustling ambiance. Ordered the spicy pork quesadilla and it was not only cheesy but the pork was marinated in lovely spices so everything had a nice balance of flavors.
Also, ordered a beef burrito to go and it did not disappoint the next day. The burrito is huge and packed with delicious spiced beef slices, rice, beans and cabbage.
The place was busy and a order at the counter and take a number kind of place so no comment on the service. Though about organization - it would make more sense to have the cutlery and sauces all in one spot as opposed to opposite corners of the seating area, but all in all this is now my go-to Mexican place.
This is one place that I'm not worried about recommending to almost anyone! It's the trifecta of tasty, inexpensive, and quick! There really isn't a better Mexican food joint that I've been too.
I normally order the burritos and the tacos but when I venture into anything else I'm also happy with what I get. The chips and guac are also a safe bet. They have a wide variety of sauces from peanut and avocado to some mega-hot ones.
The atmosphere is nice with art on the wall and he foods good enough that there are always some people around but not too busy as to have to wait very long (if at all) for seating.
3.6/5 Taco!!! You need to try these cheese added taco. I had a beef tongue taco, the taste was so good. Crispy at the edge, soft on surface. In general, it had everything I like. I'm not a big fan of taco, but this place is really good.
Phenomenally authentic Mexican food with vibrant decor.
Great tacos at a reasonable price. They have a huge selection of salsa you can add to your tacos. You can dine in or take out and it is a casual dining place - makes it very family friendly.
Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had!! Rivals my favourite go-to Mexican place in New West. Parking is a challenge! So many different sauce options- for free! Friendly and quick service. I'll be back!
Always a fave spot for mexican food in Vancouver! So glad they have more locations now! The food is amazing as always but my fave are always the tacos - Al pastor, carne salsa and the fish are always perfect! Wasn't too busy for lunch today but you dine in or takeout so it's quiet convenient. Make sure you try the horchata or the coffe+horchata they're so good! My only warning is that the parking lot here is tiny so try to find parking in the neighborhood and just walk to it!
Best and freshest Mexican food I've had outside of Mexico and California. Super friendly staff and beautiful decor.

We look forward to coming back and dining at the restaurant. We had pick up and it was packaged professionally and warm when we got it home.

The food is great as always bur customer service really poor, the cashier in the front is like a robot she said that same line to all the customers, for here or to go , she can say how are you? How is your day going, what can I get you today, welcome to sal and Limon but noooo same line before she even say hi
