My sister and nieces went to this tea room to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday and loved everything about it.the tea room is beautifully decorated with pink sheer drapes, plush cream cushioned chairs, glass round tables with pink individual tea pots, fine China tea
cups, little tea strainers etc.The tea sandwiches and pastries were so delicious and beautifully displayed. The seating is for 2 hours so it was very relaxing as well.We will definately go again. Highly recommend it.
Cozy, romantic tea room. Great food presentation, friendly smiling staff.
Quite expensive, but the experienced itself was priceless.
I brought my 20 month old grandchild and he just loved the macaron shaped throw pillows
I loved the settings and excellent location!
I am visiting from Norway, and my family lives here... Definitely will come back again
Remarkable heritage home in downtown Vancouver. Beautifully decorated and ambiance is very unique. They offered gluten free menu but they require one day’s notice. They are diligent about making sure that there is no cross contamination in preparing the food with the same kitchen utensils. They prepared the gluten free and non gluten free in the same dish but separated them. Sweets and savoury offered were a great selection. Tea selection was sufficient. Everything was fresh and they happily bagged the remaining left overs. Ended up purchasing some meringue as a “to-go”.
Patisserie Fur Elise is a small dessert pastry store located downtown Vancouver, BC. It serves the different kinds of French Pastries, teas, and desserts. Patisserie Fur Elise has located nearby the busiest street – Robson ST. and Yaletown downtown Vancouver. The store alone is in an old Queen Anne style Victorial Heritage House. The house looks so adorable with lots of cute decorations and unique design inside the store.
I also went to this place for some desserts and enjoy your afternoon tea with friends. All the staffs work there were very sweet, nice, and friendly. They all wore the adorable uniform. The food and drinks were delicious too. There are multiple kinds of tea and dessert selections. My birthday and my sisters birthday were celebrating at Patisserie Fur Elise. We all had a great time at Patisserie Fur Elise. Definitely, we should go back to this place again.
Afternoon Tea with a group of friends was very pleasant. A nice selection of tea, tasty tiny sandwich bites and flavourful sweets. I would eat a Caramel Choux Puff at every meal if I could. I enjoyed the fruit panna cotta, a friend said it was too firm for her liking. The place settings were beautiful and we all liked the individual teacup strainers. I think my teapot refilled my cup 3 times. $30/person is expensive to me (but I don't get out much). The main floor is the patisserie and the upstairs is the tea salon. It is NOT handicap accessible as there are 3 stairs to get into the house and a great high staircase to climb to get to the tea salon.
If you're looking for a more elegant high tea experience, I recommend Patisserie Fur Elise. It is located in a heritage house and they do create such a posh yet peaceful ambiance. They offer a tasty selection of sweets and finger sandwiches. They do not have an extensive tea selection, however it's still a fair selection.
As for staff, they were pleasant but they didn't really interact with us. Overall, if you're craving for a more quaint tea experience, I say give them a visit.
This would be my guest’s first time at a proper high tea service. I wanted the event to be a memorable, a service with the whole song and dance. So I brought her here. A princess-like setting with white lace, white gloves, and the servers in a frilly and floral apron. We even came during the proper tea time, 3:30pm: after lunch, but before dinner.
I haven't searched for many afternoon teas in the area except for the fancy hotel lobbies, my favourite as everyone knows by now is Fairmont Pacific Rim. I heard from management at Shangri-La that their afternoon tea at Xi Shi lounge has closed their door. Perhaps that's a sign I should venture out of my comfort zone, so I reserved a table at Patisserie Fur Elise.
The afternoon tea here is highly recommended. They have delicious food and a good selection of high quality, loose leaf tea. My favourite bite was the croissant with Brie, basil and proscuito. So delicious and melt in your mouth. I ordered a black honey tea that paired lovely with the food. I will definitely come back here.
The other day, my friend and I were planning to go high tea at the Shangrila Hotel but it was all fully booked so our next option was Patisserie Fur Elise. We were lucky enough that a table was cancelled last minute so we were able to get a table during that time slot. We were shocked how these high tea places get booked up so fast, so I highly recommend booking in advance before going. We parked our cars at the Pacific Centre Mall and skytrained down to Yaletown. From the Yaletown Skytrain station it took us around 8-10 mins to walk to Patisserie Fur Elise. It was a gorgeous day, so walking was not an issue. BUT after high teaing, we've noticed skytraining to Yaletown was actually not necessary and it would probably be faster if you walk from PC to here.
Very cute exterior and interior. The seats were very comfortable and the food was delicious. For $30.00 per person for high tea, I thought was reasonable. The portion seems small but when you start eating, it actually gets very filling. I was really full at the end and highly recommend others to check this place out.
Afternoon Tea!. Went for my friend's birthday and it was so pretty inside! Pricey, but I would definitely go back just for more photos (the food was quite good too!) For teas, we tried the Crème Brûlée, Magic Desert & Lychee Garden. I loved the Lychee Garden but did not really enjoy the other 2...
