Mindblowing value sushi. Huge portions. Tuna sashimi is poor quality, everything else is excellent.
This place is simply amazing. With the price that does not match its sizes, don’t get it wrong, sizes are so big.
Usually go to the one in Fraser, but this one is just exactly the same.
The massive California roll is what I enjoy the best.
Usually make an order of 2, with the latter being variants. Highly recommended for sushi lovers.
Note that it’s not a big place to sit and chill. I prefer takeouts
Very tiny and cramped, most of their business is from take out. Best known for their GIANT rolls at super cheap prices. It's not the best quality, but the price is dirt cheap. I'd recommend calling in to make an order.
Samurai Sushi House is located on Cambie Street near Oakridge-41st Avenue Canada Line Station. It is a tiny place with approximately 10 seats. They mostly do take-out orders which are good for group events or family dinners.
This is a Vietnamese owner on a Japanese sushi house. If you are looking for authentic Japanese food with high quality, then this is not the place.
Amazing prices! HUGE quantities!

Love this place! I’ve never dined in as space is always limited as they are popular. Great for take out & often quick. Best place to go if you want giant sushi rolls! My recommendation is the Alaska Roll.
Pretty good for budget eats. Love the California roll. Just half a roll is enough to fill me up! Usually get the salmon sashimi, chopped scallop roll and California roll (all to share with another person of course). Option of table or booth. This is more of an “in and out” restaurant. Fill your tummy and leave. Not really the restaurant to bring ur Tinder date
This place takes cash only. Most folks came here for take out. The place is quite small with a limited number of seats. We really like the salmon tempura sushi, and BBQ salmon sushi. Others were also quite good.
I love their salmon tempura roll to death. The place itself is a bit too small to hold diners inside but I always call ahead of time to order for pickup. Takes no more than 10 to 15 mins for them to have it ready for you. Have to note that the place is CASH ONLY.
Sushi is big and Sashimi pieces are the largest in Vancouver, almost couldn`t fit my mouth! You can go to a high end japanese restaurant and pay triple for a small piece of fish. There is alot of people lining up, there is a reason why. I went here with my japanese girlfriend and she was very impressed with the quality of the fish! I highly recommend you to try out their sashimi, you won`t regret!
We frequently take-out from this restaurant.
Pros: The food portions are very large and we always order the house roll.
Cons: There has been a few mix-ups (twice out of ~12 orders) with the food we ordered. I.e. We ordered Unagi Roll (Eel), but received some other roll in the box.
I always recommend double checking your order in the box before leaving.
Solid sushi restaurant when no order mix-ups happen.
Have you seen the pictures of the sushi pcs? It's about the size of my face for a dynamite roll. Stretch that dollar of yours by getting sushi here and you'll stretch the crap out of your mouth by trying to fit the sushi in your mouth whole. Super cheap and pretty fresh becuase it's always packed with a line up here but it's nammer owned and operated. DEF get biggest bang for your buck here but expect generic sushi. Nothing amazing nothing spectacular but worth it just to see those ginormous sushi rolls.
