This place is one of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver. I especially love their Pho and spring rolls. It is extremely delicious, tasty and full of amazing flavour. Their staff is super friendly too.
Le Petit Saigon will always be one my all-time favourite Vietnamese restaurants in Vancouver. Taste, authenticity, and QUALITY is all there. Been coming here for years, staff is great with amazing service. Nothing’s changed. I love my pho chewy, and they’ve never over cooked my pho EVER! Go try this place out, you’ll thank me later.
Le Petit Saigon was quite busy on a Friday night. We also noticed quite a number of take out orders. We ordered two items to share. The first item was Grilled Beef and BBQ Minced Pork over Vermicelli. We enjoy this Asian style salad. We also shared a bowl of Beef and Hue Ham with Special Spicy Noodle Soup.
I love this place. Been there twice in one week. Each time time I had the Pho with rare beef, tripe and tendon. The soup base is really good and has well rounded flavours, thus I didn’t need to add additional sauces to perk up the flavour. Furthermore I had their regular salad roll and the Saigon salad roll. The Saigon salad roll is awesome - it has a mini spring roll inside the salad roll!
I will definitely return!
Ordered takeout house special pho, and it was very delicious with big portions of assorted meat and great soup and noodles. Would highly recommend for takeout, maybe ask for spoon as that wasn't provided!
Came here after celebrating NW’s birthday at Playland since it’s close by. Although a hole in the wall, the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Service was great as well — our water was constantly refilled and staff were very friendly. I ordered a large Special Beef Noodle Soup Pho ($9.50) and NW got a large Grilled Chicken Noodle Soup Pho ($9.25). It came out piping hot, which was great. We both loved what we got. The noodles were cooked well and the servings were reasonable.
My girlfriend and I were at pne. We wanted a clean healthy meal so we explored the Hastings area up the street and found this place.
The service is very quick and friendly. The place is very clean as well. Lots of space inside.
The broth was done very nicely when my girlfriend ordered her pho. I ordered the bun thit and holy that was absolutely delicious. It was so refreshing in this summer heat. I loved my experience, and if I was ever in the area again I would come back. The prices were very reasonable too.
Btw, if your Chinese they assume you want your bean sprouts boiled or steamed. Ask for it raw if you want it raw.
I am half Vietnamese with a mother and sisters who love to cook broths and are constantly trying to outdo ourselves and I am SO impressed with the Pho broth at Le Petit Saigon. It is so flavourful and full of spices! I really love that they don't just dump msg in their broth and pass it as pho like many places do. I seriously crave their Pho all the time and my mouth will actually water when we drive by this place. If you want to experience a great tasting broth and have a love of asian spices then try it out.
My partner showed me this Vietnamese eatery over a year ago and I now only crave Le Petit Saigon when craving pho! The portions are huge but even better are the spring rolls-- not too greasy, super crispy and delicious. Worth the trip out every time.
I was here today. The salad rolls are made with care. I've had them in other places where they seem to be slopped together. Every bite had a perfect ratio of leafy greens, rice noodles and shrimp.
The pho was fantastic! This place is right up there for some of the best pho in western canada that I've tried.
