We had an enjoyable Italian dining experience at Cibo Trattoria.

Buon Appetito!

Focaccia Bread

Bread is served with olive oil and vintage balsamic vinegar. It was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside.

Cannelloni di maiale

Cannelloni is a cylindrical type of lasagna and baked with a filling. The stuffings include braised pork and ricotta. Its Tuscan kale puree goes well with the Focaccia bread. Their pasta dishes are small and served as a second course.

Tiramisu

It was presented like an ice-cream sandwich. It was very tasty!

Cibo Trattoria is located in downtown Vancouver. It is attached to the Moda hotel at 900 Seymour Street, Vancouver BC. It is nice and modern unique decor.

Recommended order: Mixed Chicory Lettuce, Strozzapreti/Demonico, and Affogato
Would I go back? Yes minus the panna cotta.

This was the starting point of our adventures on the Dine Out Vancouver Preview Tour. This restaurant is located in the Hotel Moda, a boutique hotel on the corner of Seymour. Cibo Trattoria is the sister restaurant to UVA, a wine bar that basically shares the same space in another room, so it’s a little confusing at first to get your mind oriented to the space.
