Roti Canai - ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
It is one of my favourite appetizers compared to their spring rolls. The currr sauce really compliments the roti
Pineapple Seafood Friedrice - ⭐️ ⭐️
It is ok. Not really flavourful but usually a go to for most people and it looks good I guess. Would recommend their Nasi Goreng instead.
Litchi-mint drink - ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Super refreshing especially during a nice sunny day. Give it a go. Will NOT REGRET it.
This was one of the few places still open for late dinner. We ordered pineapple fried rice, roti Canai, chicken satay and sayur lemak which is essentially vegetable curry. All the dishes were pretty good, though one should not expect them to be authentic Malaysian taste-wise. Still good in their own right.
I come here with my vegetarian girlfriend all the time and even though they modify some of my favourite dishes so that it doesn't contain any meat or seafood they still taste amazing!
My favourites are the tofu goreng, the eggplant (I die), and the green beans. I have had the rendang beef, skewers, Roti canai, and Assam curry tofu and vegetables and they're all delicious! The black cod is amazing as well. I wasn't too crazy about the lettuce wrap though.
The only reason I didn't give Banana leaf a perfect score is because the service is pretty inconsistent. It isn't spectacular but sometimes the servers disappear so it's hard to get their attention if you need something and there is one male server/host that is really condescending and seems to usually be in a bad mood.
Regardless I will always return for my favourite eggplant dish!
