Food was very fresh. You can tell the seafood was caught fresh in Vancouver. However, the wait for seating was troublesome and it did take about 10 minutes for seating. Other than that food was worth the wait.
Although it took us a while to get a seat at this restaurant, Dynasty Restaurant is a must try for their dim sum. We ordered the black truffle dumpling (cool to try out, mainly filled with mainly mushroom), scallop and snow pea tip dumpling (wrapped in a black skin with a nice seafood flavor), baked pork pie (very delicious with a pepper sauce, wild rice lotus leaf (extremely flavorful than most places), and eggplant with shrimp (good, eggplant was not oily with a lot of shrimp). Prices here are around $7 - $9 per dish. I would definitely recommend this place to try out. Also, try to be there early or have a reservation in advance as they can get extremely busy.

If you can only get 3 dim sum dishes here, you must get all these 3: the Beet Dumplings, the Scallop Dumplings, and the Sweet Purple Yam Dumplings. However, for the elevated dim sum dishes, there’s a price to pay – those dishes were $9 – $10 each and among the most expensive dim sum places in the city. The Hong Kong style Spicy Garlic Crab came out as an extravagant dish to impress visually. However, I found the taste a little underwhelming and in need of salt. It was a 90-dollar crab ($38/lb) and of course, and I'm allowed to be a little picky about it, aren't I?

Dynasty Seafood Restaurant has won many awards over the years. I have no idea why I have not visited it until now! Located on Broadway and Willow, there is actually free parking below the restaurant. It looks like there is pay parking, but if you tell the hostess which stall you parked at, then you will not get towed or ticketed.
Dynasty seafood restaurant is located on West Broadway Street downtown, which is one of the busiest streets in Vancouver. There are lots of restaurants on this street. My American friend really wants to eat Dim Sum downtown, so we did research online. We found Dynasty Seafood Restaurant has the best review, so we decided to go. The location is very convenience and easy for people to find. We arrived the restaurant before 11 am. The restaurant was not full. Luckily, we got a table and began our order. The restaurant has very fancy design and the menu is very simple and easy to understand. There are not too many morning dim sum selections on the menu, mostly are lunch and dinner. The price of food is a little bit expensive. We had couple dishes, like BBQ Pork Bakery, Shrimp Dumplings, Beef tendon, and etc. The taste of the food was OK, decent. They were not too excited.

這地區泊車相當昂貴，每半小時收費$2.50，幸好顧客可在商廈地庫停車場免費泊車，但各位於泊車後(沒有Reserved的位都可以泊) 必須記下車位號碼，然後向酒家的服務員登記，否則你有機會收到罰款告票啊！

If you’re looking for Sunday brunch Chinese-style, dim sum is your answer. This would be considered one of the top places for chinese food and dimsum in Vancouver. I found everything we ordered very well made, refined and not greasy. The quality is noticeable compared to more cheaper dim sum restaurants, where the buns can be dry or not fluffy, pastries and deep fried items are greasy, and dumplings can have very thick doughy skins.
Turned out "Steamed Bun with Egg Yolk" wasn't quite as interesting as I imagined. It's a smallish steamed bun, each about half the size of a tennis ball. The "egg yolk" part looked like oily melted cheddar and tasted like ...
We went here for lunch at 10am and the place is almost fully packed not long after. The food is actually pretty good here! I especially liked the steamed beef tendon and bbq pork pie with lemon. Some dim sums are slightly bigger dishes than the ones you find in other restaurants. Service was not bad either as they are pretty attentive. I would come back again!
