Visited the Sardine Can last night and had a wonderful experience. It’s a tiny place with 3 tables and some space at the bar. The service was excellent. We tried about half the menu and some specials, and I really loved about half of those dishes. They other half were pretty good, but not something I would order again. The spicy garlic prawns are excellent, and the oil is really amazing (great for bread dipping). The paella was lovely but beware it is quite fishy. I would recommend checking this place out.
Super cute! And tasty! The place itself is so small it reminds of a sardine can - long and skinny. We were lucky to have visited on a quiet weekday evening. The food is served on small plates (some are vintage, probably from antique stores), adorable bread tower (we were told that since the table real estate is limited they have to strive for smaller footprints and go upwards, makes sense), everything was delicious. Prawns, mushrooms in sherry sauce, paella, green beans with romesco sauce - all very good. They don't have hot water for tea or coffee, so go find it elsewhere.
A good amount of vegetarian options for my friend. Food also tasted simple and flavourful. Going with a group is better since you can share the tapas.
