Came here for brunch, ordered the waffles with dark chocolate topping and mixed berry compote. It was amazing. Also, my fiance ordered the chai latte, hands down best chai latte we have ever tried. We've been searching for a new favorite brunch place and we have definitely found it at Chambar.
Great food, was not aware it’s mostly a seafood restaurant no chicken. Anyways i enjoyed my beet salad and my husband enjoyed his dish with wild boar. Great service
Aww.... the ambiance! The feel of the place! Crisp clean and delicious food. Excellent service. Kids friendly. True rustic elegance. Outstanding beer selections. Thank you "Father's Day" day for the excuse to be allowed to be dragged (not even one scream or kick) into this beautiful place by my wife and kids. :o)
It's a great place to go and get some brunch with friends and family. The food was amazing but the portions on some plates were uneven.
The mix of cultures that they represent on the flavors of the dishes are just delightful.
I put only four stars for the poor amount of food on some plates and for the service that we got, it wasn't the best.
Visited here for brunch. The food was amazing. The staff accommodated my medium-sized party and were attentive, helpful, and friendly the whole time. I pre-booked online and they were highly communicative, even with a couple changes I made to the reservation beforehand. Pricing is very fair, especially for the quality of food and presentation. The ambiance is really cool with lots of wood and natural light. Spacing was great; didn’t feel squished despite being quite busy. Check out the light fixtures; really unique. Washrooms were roomy and clean. I will definitely be going back.
My girlfriend took me here for a dine out and we had a good time. We sat at a bar so we had a nice view of the bartender making drinks and it was also fun chatting with him.
I got Lind’s Lemonade for a cocktail and if you enjoy citrus drinks, I would recommend this.
As for dine out, we ordered the albacore tuna, and the medium rare roast bbq bison. BBQ bison was good but I think the sauce was a bit too strong for me. Albacore tuna was quite nice - it was a note of sweetness which was surprisingly nice.
The main course was short ribs and seared char. The char was a bit dry but the garnish around the fish nicely balanced it out. The short ribs were literally falling apart in the best way possible and the pickled beets added a citrus note to the dish.
The dessert was delicious despite how full we were. The chocolate cake was pretty standard but done well, and the green tea panna cotta was light and refreshing after the heavy dinner.
Overall, it was a nice meal and next time I would come back for brunch!
Our go to dinner spot before a Broadway play. The atmosphere at Chambar is comfortable. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly. The food is amazing and the cocktails are refreshing.
Got pretty good experience there, the vibe is really cozy and nice. The food is also nice!
The waitress Gemma is very kind, but another waitress I asked to take off my plates seemed obviously reluctant to serve me. I remembered she is pretty tall.
I would recommend Moules Frites and the dessert ganache. The mussels with the tomato sauce is really tasty. Also, I suggest to taste the ganache with both the ice cream and ruby chantilly, it’s not so sweet and is a good dessert to try!
A gorgeous place for dinner and a date. Our server (forgot her name) was a lovely Korean Canadian lady. She was new but pretty good and friendly. I loved the charcuterie and Autumn salad for starters. Mussels are to die for especially the soup. I recommend trying lamb shank for mains if you like spices and curries. It's 6 hours braised shank that won't let you down.
It was a perfect night with lovely people from the chamber restaurant.
