I came here for a quick bite on a lunch break since I was looking for something fast and affordable. I walked in welcomed by the aroma freshly made pizzas. The slices are quite large and are priced pretty well at $3-5 a slice. I got the Margherita pizza and it was pretty good. Lots of sauce, generous toppings and a really nice garlic flavour. I'd say this is one of the better places for lunch in the area.
Cora pizza has the right mixture of quantity and quality as I bought one massive slice of pizza for $3.50. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a quick and cheap late night snack.
One slice is $3.99. They are quite big and there is a huge selection. Thin crust with lots of toppings. Fresh and hot. Perfect size. I would go back. Decor is outdated, but it's nice to see a place that isn't a chain pizza place. There is only one table to sit indoors and one bench right in front of the cute small restaurant. They even have a selection of dipping sauces. And brio soft drinks.
Good Pizza; Excellent Price. Cora Pizza is a godsend for University of Toronto students. The pizza tastes good, and the slices are large relative to the price (approx. $3-$4/slice). That, combined with the fact that they are usually open to about 4am, makes it one of my favourite pizza places in Toronto.
Great neighbourhood pizza place. It's a toss up between them and papa ceo's. Cora tends to have thinner crust and more sauce. I find the slices tend to have a fuller flavour.
Ahh, university days. Cora Pizza and its neighbour Papa Ceo have been around for a long time. These were our go-to places for snacking back in 1st and 2nd year. I've tried them both, and honestly, they taste the same to me, but I think people tend to like the first one they tried. That's the reason I tend to go to Cora rather than Papa Ceo. (Nelson: I used to visit one when I went to camp at U of T, but don't remember which one now. The pizza itself was quite tasty with lot's of toppings and it's a good deal) Each slice is a quarter of a large pizza, so it's a pretty good deal for $4/slice compared to chain pizza places. We got three slices to split with 9 people, and we chose Texan (ground beef, mushroom), Meatluver (ham, ground onions), and Cha Cha Cha (roasted chicken, roasted red pepper, mushroom, onion).
