BTW i am over 1 hour away and have been going there for more years than i can remember. it's worth the drive.
Excelent food with an incredible atmosphere. If you like fine Italian food in a family setting this is the place for you and a date or the family and children. The hang out of some of the establised members of the community. A good balanced menu is included
Like so many others that received a generous gift certificate from Zomato (thank you Pam!), went to try Amico's.
The location is outside of my typical treks, but reachable (First World Problems - most likely a 15 minute drive there). Anyhow, Amico's appears to be a well established, long-standing, neighborhood little Pizza parlor (just my impressions without reading any other info from other sources).
Had a large pepperoni pizza and calamari on a cold day with the wife and my toddler. Given how cold, dark and miserable the day was, I appreciated the fact the food was hot and delicious. Even for such a plain pizza (had to compromise for the 2 year old) - it certainly was tasty - I can only imagine what the more signature pizzas would be like.
Service was quick, friendly, and attentive.
I'd recommend anyone in the area to check Amico's out for quick eats when you're in the area. Definitely a notch higher than your typical franchise pizza spots!
Just a note - the dining area doesn't look like it has more than 5 or 6 4-person tables (the patio might extend it to 2 more tables). I could be horribly be off with my observation but looks like it could get packed fast during busy spells. :)
