I can not believe I had no idea there was a Sunset Grill so close to the Beaches but on the Danforth. There is a paid parking lot close by which makes for my easier visiting by car.
The locations look very similar and that grand slam breakfast was fantastic. Despite my friend's horror and me ordering bacon so crispy it is close to burned, they did so anyway and it was perfection. My eggs were over well, the sausage was great and because it was pancake Tuesday they were only $1 each and money with to the Canada Cancer Society.
Our server was fantastic too, super friendly and helpful. I am so happy to have discovered this location (which she said was one of the original Sunset Grills) without having to go all the way to the Beaches.
Great decaf coffee, fantastic breakfast platter and excellent service. I will be back!

Mega hunger multiplied by mega breakfast and to it add a large glass of fresh orange juice = highly satisfying breakfast morning. Period.
PS. This is a repeat visit and repeat order next time also.
Sunset Grill is one the best places in Toronto to get a nice, hearty, satisfying and delicious breakfast. Every time I have gone there, I always treat myself to Eggs, Bacon, Back Bacon, Sausages and Toast on the side. It's probably the biggest breakfast I've ever had in a long time, other than what I cook at home. It fills me up so much, I don't even have to worry about lunch. The food is great, tasty, delicious, fresh and makes your tastebuds go back for more. The service is very friendly, quite the bunch of busy-bodies, but all around great servers and cooks. Long story short, you love having hearty, big breakfast specials, Sunset Grill is a wonderful, zesty pleasure that all Torontonians should know and love :)

Nothing has changed over the years except the prices on the menu. The service can be questionable during the rush hours, luckily my was great during the visit. Nice place for a quick casual bite in the east end.

Sunset Grill Danforth is the best!. I recently went to the newly renovated Sunset Grill on the Danforth and it was awesome. The atmosphere is exactly like the new Sunset Grill's. The food was amazing! I had a fluffy bacon and cheddar omelette that was mouth watering. My husband had an egg sunset and it was delicious. The service was great.. And what I loved most about it, was that the food tasted fresh...Yes no frozen home fries there were actual potatoes cooked on the spot... If you live near Danforth and Coxwell it is a must to check this place out and if you do not live near by it is worth a drive...
