For me and everyone I've introduced to it, Anh Dao is the best vietnamese food in the city. The family that owns and operates it are friendly and accommodating and always treat me and other guests like family or old friends. Ambiance-wise it's cozy and pretty quiet, unlike some of the bigger places in the area. Beef pho, pork bun (vermicelli bowl), and fresh rolls are personal favorites. I'd recommend anyone try it, and if you do, get ready to become a regular
This could be the best pho spot. Everything taste authentic but it was too salty or there was MSG added. A little sad about that as everything tasted fresh. I still say it's one of the better pho restaurant in Chinatown.
Excellent experience. The rice roll salad wraps were fantastic, fresh, flavourful and a great price. The papaya salad too was really good. The place was clean, well run and the staff were friendly and respectful of a food intolerance, adapting the order accordingly. The price point is very fair and, if I lived in the city, I would be a regular for sure.
Love love love it!. This place has the best nem nhuong goi I have ever tasted in my entire life. I've been walking by this place for 3 years and I never even noticed it. Luckily, a family member introduced me and I have been coming here at least once a week since. They have the reputation of the best nem nhuong and it is definitely not a lie. The nem nhuong is down right delicious. Their banh xeo is also pretty good. I know sometimes the service can be a bit frustrating, they're not the friendliest looking bunch. But give them a break, it's a family owned restaurant and they're usually quite busy. I've noticed though, if you order take out, you're treated to a smile by the owner - but I might be the exception since I've become a regular.
"Anh No Dao T About It...it Rocks!". I have eaten at this Vietnamese Restaurant before many a time and I was living away in Montreal for around a year and I came back and ate there recently and it is just like a remember but I think even better. The food is so authentic and tasty and fresh, the service is fast and friendly and it has a comfy feeling it is small but intimate and you can always see I think it is Vietnamese Karaoki on the T.V. near the Kitchen it is COOL. I feel like I could be in Vietnam I am very picky about Asian food most I find not authentic and very average but this PLACE IS GREAT I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE that enjoys delicious Vietnamese food. It is soooo yummy!!!
With the exception of the spring rolls I would definately eat here again
Just an OK place for pho. My favourite spot for Banh Xeo (crispy Vietnamese crepes with shrimp and bean sprouts). Tastes just like they do in Ho Chi Minh City.
