Just a good burger guaranteed
Great Taste. Had the Big Smoke Burger which was yummy. There was a distinct flavour of smoke, the toppings were perfectly balanced and the burger was cooked perfectly. Definitely worth a return visit.
Went there for lunch today. A holiday, when you would not expect their A game. People were coming in at a good pace and I and my crew had the crazy and original burgers. They were (insert expletive here) good! Absolutely perfectly cooked and delicious. Friendly and attentive staff. No cheap meat or fillers here, and it was obvious. Pickled peppers on the crazy burger were crunchy and flavorful, good quality cheese, nice quality bun. Not a giant burger fan, but will go out of my way when in the area to eat at this location. Soooo good!
Fast Food gone Flair. Bit of a wait because the burgers are made fresh. A little expensive for fast food but that's what you pay for when it comes to gourmet burgers on the go. I had the Blue Burger (gargonzola, avocado, rosemary garlic mayo and tomato & lettuce) plus fries and an old fashioned cherry cola for $15. If you're tired of your west coast salad, put down your yoga mat and mosey on down to the Big Smoke Burger - it'll make a hairy carnivore out of you yet.
Excellent Burgers Fries Need Work. So based on reviews I decided to try Big Smoke Burger, (formerly Craft Burger) at their King East location. The burger was awesome. One of the best burgers I've ever had.
The fries were skinny and crispy. I prefer fat and potatoey. Also the kethup on hand was really vinagery.
The burger was worth it though
My Burger was huge in portion, they claim to only use Ontario AAA beef and fresh ingredients which was quite obvious when I took a bite. The burger was fresh and juicy just as I expected. However, there was too much horseradish mayo in my burger and it was a little salty. Fries on the other hand, was so good! They were perfectly cripsy and piping hot, love love love em! Other than that, it was very good and I would def go back- next time probably try the Craft Burger with sateed mushrooms :)
The food was good and fresh (also fresh made to order) but I didn’t think there was any wow factor. It’s definitely a good burger joint.
Biting into it, the juices was dripping off my burger. That burger was the real deal. It was good quality meat and it gave a satisfying thump on my belly.
It was pretty inevitable then that my eyes immediately were drawn to the 'Craft Blue' burger at Craft Burgers. The fact that Craft's burgers are handmade fresh to order just sweetened the deal.
I wanted a burger place on my list of eats, so I picked Big Smoke Burger, as it was consistently coming up when I googled "Best Burger in Toronto". It used to be called Craft Burger, but changed their name to Big Smoke not too long ago. We had one guy leave, but another person join, so among 7 people, we shared 2 burgers. Big Smoke Burger - horseradish mayo, caramelized onions, smoked cheddar, tomato & lettuce. Craft Burger - sautéed mushrooms, rosemary garlic mayo, lettuce & tomato. This is the picture of the burger that is cut up. I tried the Craft burger, and it was pretty juicy. The price isn't bad either, for a "gourmet" burger place. I'd come back again to try others.
