Relaxed atmosphere (outside of the Saturday night Rush) on the Danforth near the Pape station with excellent salads, good wines, and great pizzas - with the one featured here being a Pizza Gorgonzola with Pears, Walnuts, Rocket, attended by competent unintrusive young staff
Great food!! Especially in the fall and winter. The squash soup is incredible and the pasta is the best in the city in my opinion. Good prices and great service.

Incredible, friendly service. I have been visiting this restaurant for the past 5 years and even after moving to another city; I always make sure to stop in when I am visiting.
The food is always fresh and tasty and there are many options to choose from. Being a former "regular" I feel quite special being able to order off the menu and customizing my food; it is almost like having a personal chef.
Lisette is such a gem. She is warm and kind and funny and I always try to sit at her section.
I was lucky enough to go early last night and we had the fried mozzarella balls with tomato jam for a starter. Those little things are addictive! I ordered the pasta of the day and Lisette let me substitute the tuna for chicken and I ordered a glass of the chardonnay that was advertised.
My friend and I really enjoyed the food - she had the fig pizza and it was perfect! We were too stuffed to have dessert but I have enjoyed the creme brûlée in the past.
I think this location is really fun and family-oriented and all the staff are helpful and friendly. I just really enjoy visiting.

Best Il Fornello in the city. Reliable place, the service is great and friendly. The food is very good, try their fig pizza, it's surprisingly good.
Excellent service and great environment. Our appetizers were free simply because they arrived at the same time as the meal, so while not necessary it was great vale added service. Great experience and I loved all the great food choices - especially the fig pizza.
Service is great. Kid friendly. Try their pizza (first one on the menu with pine nuts) it's soooo good!
Hours upon hours of early mornings and late nights writing and editing pictures culminated in a delightful Italian dinner with the friends and family in my life who matter most. So here is to another 300 restaurants! Clinks Glass!
