It was the end of the month and we needed to decide on a burger place to eat at. I did a quick Google search of what was in the area and unfortunately, most of them were fast food chains or ones we've already tried. But there was one that popped up that caught my attention and was only one bus ride away. Mark and I both agreed as we were running low on options. The place was No Bull Burgers, and my first thought was, what an interesting name for a burger joint. In 2011, Tony Tsakanikas opened up No Bull Burgers in the downtown core, serving Toronto residents with the objective to distinctively "cut the bull out of the burger business." In Tony's opinion, the joints in the Toronto burger scene lacked quality and authenticity. Within two years time, he decided to relocate the joint to his home neighbourhood in the Beaches, and focus more on a family-oriented approach.
the quinoa burger is vegan and so so good and made in house! it's a great addition to the upper beaches area. place is kind of small as it can get busy in the summer. they also whip up milk shakes with kawartha dairy ice cream if thats your style!!
Awesome poutines. Had the brisket poutine and poutine supreme and they were both great. The service was great too. Doesn't get much better than that. We'll be coming back.
Average. Had a regular burger which was good with a poutine with bacon which is really filling. The bacon could of been cooked more. This place is pretty average nothing special.
The crispy deep fried bacon will knock your socks off.
I went inti No Bull Burger today with my kids. The staff that worked there was on there cell phones and didn't pay attention to us. After that the wait for the burgers they messed up my order. A burger with vacin abd mushrooms. The burger patty was juicy but the bun was partially cold. But overall the food wasnt bad. Id comeback with my friend
Love this place!. First off, the kids that work here are amazing. They're so friendly and on top of their game! We've been scouring Toronto for a decent burger since we moved here (from down south US) and we've finally found a place to quench our meaty thirst! I'm almost embarrassed to admit how often we eat here but it's really that good. Plus, the staff is great with our little one - and you can't put a price on that!
PS.. Brisket and pulled pork are awesome alternatives if you're not feeling a burger!
Tasty, Chill Eatery. I love the kids that work there, they hire great staff. I go eat in there just to talk sometimes. And the food! The food hits the spot every time. If you have a burger craving this is up on the scale of the tastiest, home-made with love burgers. Fries are yummy, home made chips are very good, and the onion rings are delicious. They even have a balsamic side salad. Everyone needs to try a quinoa burger for a lighter alternative to the meat, which is also delicious. Oh and did I mention Kwaratha dairy ice cream? YUM!
Organic Quinoa Burgers, vegetarian friendly, gluten-free. As a vegetarian I was very pleased to hear that there was a vegetarian place near by. I'm not a fan of burgers so I didn't think I'd like a veggie burger but I did. A quinoa burger at that... the same quinoa I was having a hard time stomaching on its own cooked. Aside from the amazing ORGANIC quinoa burgers they also have excellent service. I wasn't expecting to be served directly at the table I sat at... by the cashier. They go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay. That is why I am a reoccurring customer.
Just went to this place with a friend tonight and was totally impressed! I got the brisket poutine, and the brisket was to die for! So tender and smokey! I love that they use actual cheese curds and fresh cut fries! It's so fresh and delicious! A great portion too! The gravy could have been a bit more flavourful for my pallet, but all in all it was fantastic!
