Hands-down the best sushi I’ve had in Toronto. The service is very hospitable and very caring. My personal favourite is anything unagi here. BBQ galbi and Beef Yaki udon are also very well done here. This is my go to place for sushi.
Happened to be in the area with the kids... excellent sushi...great service, we loved it and will be back if in the area. Try it, you will be disappointed
The place might not look great from the outside with the parking lot with the huge pothole but when you open the door you'll be warmly greeted, sat down at a table and served tea.
Oh and the sushi is great. I can strongly recommend this place.
Outstanding sushi in a strip mall relatively close to the airport. Actually the best I've had outside of Tokyo. The sushi is delicately layered with taste and does not have too much rice. The selection of sushi is huge, so many choices. The sashimi is so fresh and generous in size. It seems like this is family run, the chef is obviously very skilled. They brought out miso soup, salad to start and artistically carved fruit after. We ordered quite a bit of food and they brought it out on large plates rather than individual, which was cool. Will definitely be back when I'm in town.

My parents and I had a bizarre experience here. We ordered gyozo, sashimi party tray, BBQ Galbi, and Unagi Gabayaki.
The green tea, miso soup, salad came quickly, and the sashimi platter shortly after. Then came the unagi. We saw our waitress (the lady) leave the restaurant and get in her car. She came back 45 min later, but during that time, no one else came to wait on our table. When she was back, she smiled, acknowledged us, but did not check in on how things were. As we were close to finishg the sashimi and unagi, we thought it was strange that the gyozo (appetizer) still had not come yet. Another 20 minutes go by, still no gyozo and no galbi. Another 10 minutes, and we finally check in to ask if they forgot our order. Turns out their cook left after cooking our unagi... ok?
We didn't let this ruin our experience here. Given all the positive reviews we read (which was why we decided to try this place) we concluded this was just a bizarre unfortunate occurrence. We do plan to try this place out again at some point.
Great experience! The fish was fresh and there wasn't too much rice. Service was great too and they gave us complimentary watermelon for dessert. We ordered tempura and a party tray. Will definitely be coming back!
Really Amazing Service and Food!. I went to Toji Sushi with my boyfriend for dinner last night and we were promptly seated and served our drinks. Before we even got our appetizer (the beef gyoza) our server gave us a complimentary garden salad (with an amazing house made dressing) and miso soup each! We ordered the beef gyoza as our starter and could immediately tell how authentic they were and delicious to boost! We also ordered the small sushi and sashimi tray which was more than enough to feed 2 hungry people. We could also tell how fresh the fish was. The employees were all so friendly and felt like one big family! Everyone made us feel so comfortable! The owner even gave me and my boyfriend a complimentary beautifully cut orange for dessert.
I would definitely recommend Toji Sushi and will be back soon! :)
Delicious Sushi and Wonderful Service. The sushi was delicious. Order Unagi, dragon rolls and spicy salmon. All were so tasty and fresh. The service is wonderful they are very friendly. They bring out these sweet and beautifully cut oranges complimentary after the meal. Will definitely be returning again.
A small family run restaurant with quality sushi. You will get your usual sushi restaurant food. The people who run the business and an old sweet couple. We were greeted with a warm smile as soon we entered. The server took our order and brought green tea as we waited for our food.the service was fast.
