I am pretty picky when it comes to service and food quality in a restaurant. This location is very cute and its a cozy place to spend time with family and friends. Definitely recommend Cafe Demetre at Danforth to everyone !!! The service and food are both 10/10. Coming back for sure!

You know it's nothing but best when it's most talked place. Best in town for waffles and crepes. The quality of fruits and the cream of such standard takes it to the whole new level. It doesn't let you go until you try all on the list. Lovely experience!

one of the best dessert places in toronto. Been there wif friends and trust me v cudnt finish watever v ordered because quantity is more than expected. Friendly staff n nice decoram. A must go place for sweets n desserts.

They had a fresh and fun menu with headings such as “Game of Cones (for ice cream) and Baking Bad (for cakes).”

Went here with a group of friends and we settled on a couple of desserts to share: Moo La La (Xocolātl Roché ice cream with hazelnut and bananas which we had in crepe)
and Boomeringue (caramel meringue torte with ice cream and caramel drizzle). Both were delicious but the Boomeringue was a clear winner with the majority.  

Under “Sip Happens,” we got some coffee and tea.

We visited the Richmond Hill branch recently and they have updated the menu again with fun names. We still love going here to indulge!

This location is fairly small. They also have a small patio area facing Danforth. The servers are very friendly. Always service with a smile. If you need a recommendation, don't be afraid to ask. The portions are pretty big so make sure you bring your appetite

Delicious Crepes!. I've been to the Demetre's out in Woodbrige - and was really pleased to find out that there was a location downtown! It seems to have opened recently - and the decor and ambiance is really spot on.

And the crepes are uber delicious and certainly a healthy option after any dinner! Would definitely recommend this place as a late-night place to grab a great dessert. Perfect for sharing with your date because the portion sizes are rather large!

The only one negative that I hope that they could work on is the shortage of wait-staff! It seems like one person is taking orders, serving guests, and making the desserts and coffee all at the same time!

I tried the specialty citrus tea enhanced with vitamin C. It was delicious. And you can't go wrong with dessert waffles with a variety of toppings and ice cream to choose from.

Surprisingly good food. Moderately priced. Well air conditioned and very comfortable. Friendly service. Recommend for a after dinner date stop.

The menu at Demetre's is mind boggling. With the multiple combinations that make up the many fabulous options of "iced creams" served in waffle cones, crepes, one can be easily be tricked into thinking that you want more than you'll actually be able to stomach. Definite value for money! the portions are enormous and the chocolate just melts in your mouth. Perfect place to hang out with friends. The service though wasn't very great as they took forever to bring us the desserts.
