The food was outstanding, meat was so tender, the rice and vegetables were perfect, the presentation was very nice, the sangria just topped it off. The atmosphere very relaxing with live music. Service was also top notch. Look forward to my next visit.

Went here for Winterlicious tonight and was very impressed by the excellent service and the quality of delicious food. The portions are very generous, you have to try the yucca fries they are outstanding. Every dish was very well plated and presented. Mojitos were five dollars till 7 pm and boy what a difference fresh mint makes with the very popular smooth Havana rum The owner was so gracious and he was sad we could not stay for the live band but promised to come back again. Overall a lovely dining experience and will definitely be back!
Was there recently. The food was pretty good, the plantain chips were great! Tapas were reasonably priced and decently portioned. The mixed drinks were on the alchy side, and their famous mojito wasn't all that it was cracked up to be... stick to the wine, beer and non- mixed drinks list. Inside us perfect for a cozy one on one meal, and the outside patio is perfect for a summery group get together. Will be going back again.
Love this place!. Amazing Mojitos probably the best in Toronto. Great food, great service and although when at full capacity it can feel a bit claustrophobic the live music and good food with friendly efficient service keeps me coming back and if you get on their mailing list they will send out promotions. Definitely worth checking ask when there is live music for the whole experience and avoid the coconut shrimp , sounds good but they could work on the recipie, thats their one only flaw.

Cuba in Toronto. I had a wonderful time here with my family. The owner and his staff are wonderful and so is the food. If you've been to Cuba and loved it visit Mambo Lounge you'll have a good time.

I was pleasantly surprised when the steak arrived, the yuca fries formed a little hut that the steak was placed on which made the dish very appealing. We all noted how large our portions were, especially compared to some other Summerlicious restaurants we had visited. Everyone wanted to try my yuca fries, they smelt so delicious! They were seasoned with spices and very tasty, thick like taro but more stringy. There was a 'jus' at the bottom for the steak with what seemed like mushroom and onions sautéed, but it was hard to tell. The sauce was very mild, I was expecting a lot of 'Cuban' flavour and spices but it didn't live up to my expectations. The steak was also quite tough, it was more well-done than medium. But overall, it was a splendid dish as the fries and steak with jus went perfect together. This dish is usually $25 alone, so I definitely got my money's worth on it.
