This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to. very cozy ambience and the menu has a wide variety of dishes. Also the cocktails list is very innovative. Fantastic twist to the regular Indian cuisine. The service staff is very polite and attentive. The food is very tasty. My favourite on the menu was the lasooni cauliflower, chilli beef, banana wrapped fish and the lamb roganjosh. The presentation of the food is amazing. This is a place where if you visit once you will definitely visit again.
Our experience at Indian Street Food Company was absolutely fantastic. Loved the decor, the 4 wheeled carts were a good touch as was the wood panelled wall with assorted pictures. This is no hole in the wall place. The service & food was excellent. Everything we got was divine - eggplant fries, black pepper prawns (served in a desi style tiffin), lasooni gobi, vada pao fondue, Kerala beef Chili, Kothuroti, soya beans tikka. We finished the scrumptious meal with some gulab jamun donut and cutting chai - all of which were exquisite.
Chef Hemant Bhagwani has outdone himself in building this menu and delivering the dream of providing Toronto with upscale Indian street food.
Best Indian food I've ever had, the staff are always very very VERY welcoming and kind and they know the menu inside and out! Went there multiple times and was always treated with respect and kindness, never had a problem with the food. The food is always fresh and I've always received fast service. I've never been disappointed when going. The Lasooni Cauliflower and Butter Chicken are A M A Z I N G!!! For those who don't like spicy food, or for those who enjoy very spicy food they are very accommodating to all tastes. I would recommend going here to anyone, even first timers. :)
Undoubtedly the best North Indian food I’ve had in GTA so far! Name may be slightly deceiving - with hardly a couple of street food options on the menu. But whatever they serve, they make sure you get happiness till the last bite! Breads were baked to perfection, curries came with the right density and the perfect flavours, and appetizers were truly appetizing.. And if you want something which isn’t on the menu, do ask them. They do make some custom off-the-menu items for a couple of extra dollars. But no comprises on the taste!
Pricing was slightly on the higher side and you may end up spending 10-20% higher than the other average priced restaurants around. But for the quality, service and food, I’d say it’s a rather good deal. And the quantity is good too!

A must must try!!
This is a nice little restaurant at bayview street. Went there on recommendation of my office friends. We had planned to go early but reached there at 2:30 (closing time being 3:00). Instead of ordering a la carte, we went straight for luxury thali. Here was some logic which I didn't understand, luxury thali had raita & salad & regular one didn't. But luxury was charged 19.5 & regular was 22.5. Even the server couldn't explain the difference. Ambience is nice, has a fancy Indian touch to.. Food was yummy, specially the curries & gulab jamun. Dal makhani was a bit burnt. I will go there again to try sindhi kadhi since I haven't seen that one on any Indian restaurant that I have visited till now. Was a bit expensive but worth the shot. Recommended 😊
I've been to this restaurant multiple times and it's our go too restaurant , every dish is delicious the decor is warm and inviting the service is excellent my favourite dishes are the cauliflower and the eggplant fries for appetizer and for main the butter chicken ,the qorma, the chicken tikka masala which is mouth watering as well as the lamb chops . I've tried almost every dish there and it's just delicious and I also recommend the delicious bread that comes with your meal and after all that delicious food you have amazing desserts to choose from (highly recommended)everyone I see I tell them to check it out and it's becomes there go too as well I've always had the best experience and I can't wait to go back
We first found these guys at a food event in the Aga Khan Museum a couple of years ago, and they had not opened this place yet. I remember thinking to myself.....Self? This food is AWESOME. Find them when they open.....Well, it took us a couple of years but we finally ate here and how fabulous. Just fabulous. From the funny sign at the door (see photos), to the SO unique cocktails (reasonably priced, too), to the wine list, to the actual food, which was PERFECT. Perfectly spiced but not overpowering. Perfectly but not TOO rich. Unique. This is just a great place, from the service to the food to the ambience. Loved it.

Best authentic Indian food I have head in Toronto. Started with complimentary lentil soup. For appetiser, we had potato chaat and samosa chaat which had a proper tangy and masala flavor. For main course, it was saag paneer which was in a spinach based gravy with delicious blend of masala and dal muradabadi. The chilli garlic naan was just amazing.
The staff was very courteous and friendly. Even though the quantity of food is a bit on a lesser side. When it comes to quality, it's far superior to the quantity. Definitely worth going there.
For this dinner, a small group of my old friends and I were meeting up to try Indian food (we rarely do that) with a suggestion from Foodie Richie Bear to try out the the popular Indian Street Food Co that open recently in 2015 in Toronto. They were getting a lot of attention with their 'NO TIPPING' methodology (Admin fee = 13%). I had heard of good things and today was the day to find out.
I don't understand why this place is rated so low. This was some of the best Indian food I've had I Toronto. The cauliflower and eggplant appetizers were fantastic, all of the entrees we tired were prepared well and flavourful, service was great. Can't wait to go back and try new dishes.
