Wonderful Italian Restaurant. Ordered a Mediterranean salad as an appetizer - was average and didn't enjoy much as it was way too greasy. As for the main course ordered a crepe based dish which was super delicious and hence the above rating. Pinot Grigio was like icing on the top :)
We get delivery from Mezza Note often, usually order the veal parmagianna with penne, Italian Salad, gnocci and the Salmon pasta. These guys have mastered delivery, the food comes fast, is always hot and consistently delicious. We have eaten in the restaurant as well and service was friendly. Great spot.
Great earth hour dinner. Visited on a Sat night, we had a group of 13. We were seated in the private room, it felt like we had the place to ourselves it was so quiet. They were even able to accommodate a semi-crying 2 year old. It was earth hour that night, so they dimmed the lights. I got the Pizza Genovese which was wonderful. We stayed a good 2 hours +, thanks Mezza Notte for a wonderful evening! Only thing that was a hassle is the tiny parking lot in front that only fits about 8 cars. I took the TTC so it's a good 5-10min walk to North York Centre Station.
I went to the north York location last Saturday. When I first got to the resteraunt my first thoughts were that this is a typical Italian resteraunt but when the friendly host greeted us and sat us at our table my thoughts were changed. Right after we were sat we for greeted by our friendly server and he happily took our order soon after the food came out my thoughs were changed again because this is no typical resteraunt. But when the food touched my lips OMG wowwwww this food is to die for and for all the people who think otherwise they should get their brain checked for some sort of problem. Overall 20/10 I love this resteraunt.
Perfect Late Night Meal. My bf and I wanted some italian comfort food (he specifically wanted veal parm) in a cozy environment at 10pm on a Monday! So we decided to give it a try, we were surprised that there were still several tables so late in the night, and so we thought this place must be at the very least decent! And it most definitely was, especially for its price range, the food was tasty and the breads that came as a starter were YUM. It was a very pleasing experience, we'll definitely be back here again!

This place is so amazing. Everything here is perfect. The service, so extremely nice. The food, unbelievable every bite gets better and better if that's even possible. Everything they have is so good I highly highly recommend this place if you want real good Italian food.
It's a trattoria ao the seating lets you get to know your neighbour lol, but the food is consistently flavourful and well presented. The servers are professional not students, and the decor is charming. Good date place or small group dinner. Private room in the back seats about 20.

We are never disappointed when we eat here...the food is simple and delicious. Prices are amazingly reasonable. A perfect place to order a nice bottle of wine , enjoy a warm basket of homemade bread, a rich plate of pasta and just enjoy. The antipasta tray as an appetizer between 4 is healthy and tasty.
It is a short walk to The Toronto Center for the Arts...parking at back of restaurant.
There are 2 Toronto restaurants but I like this one better then the more eclectic one in Thornhill
Mezza Notte - awesome. For those people who said the pasta and pizza was not good and would tell someone to go to Pizza Pizza - then you have no taste for food. Both locations have wonderful food, great service and friendly service. Some people just need to stay home and eat and stop giving great restaurants bad reviews. Mezza Notte - keep doing a great job and offering great food - in the restaurant as well as your catering!!!!
Mezza Notte New Location Thornhill. Just wanted to express my delight after visiting and having dinner at the New Location Mezza Notte Trattoria at 11 Disera Dr., Thornhill. Their new location opened in September 2010, and is tastefully decorated in a modern theme.
The menu selection is superb and The food was absolutely amazing. Itallian food at its best. The offer daily specials as well. The mussels, calamari and proscuitto were the freshest I have ever had.
The service top notch. Some of the finest wines you will find in the GTA ranging from $20 to $200 per bottle to suit your tastes.
This is a must visit restruant, but be warned, book a reservation as there was a line up going out the door on a Saturday night.
