This was our 2nd visit, Diwan at Aga Khan Museum is one of our favourite indeed. Their cuisines are a meticulously mix of Middle East, India, North African, that satisfying every palates. We enjoyed the ambiance, this time we went with 2 other friends and I requested their window seat that got a panoramic view of the Aga Khan Park. The high ceiling was uplifting, our server was attentive with our scrumptious dishes. Can’t wait to go back there again!

Dinning at Diwan is experiencing meticulously crafted North African, Middle Eastern and Indian cuisine set in a great ambience. The restaurant compliments the great architecture of the museum, and the service is very attentive and exceptional. The flavours are too good and perfected by excellent chefs. If someone’s visiting the museum, then adding a visit to the restaurant will complete the whole experience.

Service was stellar! The staff is lovely. We ordered the Ossobuco (beef shank), my husband absolutely loved it. I ordered the vegetarian laksa which was very tasty. I just wished I'd ordered a side of rice to compliment the coconut broth. The rest of the family ordered the chicken biryani with tandoori chicken. They really enjoyed it as well. Great flavour, no spice, perfect for younger kids.

Took my partner here for his birthday and we had a great experience! The hummus was delicious, the samosas were good. Both mine and my partner's main course was wonderful. I had the tandoori chicken wrap and he had the beef dish. The Panna cotta (best I've had) and carrot cake were perfect. Our waiter was also incredible. Thanks for a great experience.

Excellent service, very attentive and helpful in this well appointed dining room at the AGA Kahn. I was inspired to try the burrata as I am whenever it is on a menu and I was not disappointed. The inclusion of the sweet potato batons was a nice textural foil to silky smooth cheese while the greens made it a nice light meal on its own. I did, however supplement that with the chickpea- onion fritters, also yummy and the mini falafels. The falafels were a tad dry but they were presented on a salad of chopped spinach which made it great for sharing. The meal was complimented with a glass of blush to quench my thirst on a wonderfully warm spring day. Once the patio opens this will be a great spot to relax after a stimulating and informative tour of the museums’ visual delights and cultural connections to a world seldom understood by the western mind.

Went there for a late lunch and decided to take the family out. I ordered a lot of different dishes that were recommended prior to dining in. The service was great, friendly staff, extremely professional. The plating for each meal was excellent! Neatly presented with a sense to impress the customer. The beef poutine had to be one of the top 5 I've ever eaten. The lamb shank fell right off the bone. Wish I ordered the rice along with it. The beef fensenjen was good but I found it overwhelming in onions. This happened to be a favorite of my parents, personally I enjoy a more complex pallette, nonetheless, a great meal. All the starters were worthy of recommendations. I hope the pictures do justice.

The food was good and the service was exceptional. Too bad the outdoor patio was a bit noisy because it's close to the Don Valley. Also you have to pay $10 for parking but I guess this goes to support the museum. One other suggestion would be for them to provide more unique desserts. Currently there are only two desserts which aren't really middle eastern and sorbet /ice cream.

Really great evening at Diwan. The food was absolutely delicious and the service is wonderful. We went to celebrate a birthday party with a group of 12 people and the evening went perfectly well. I would recommend Diwan to anyone who's looking to have a great dinner date or a group celebration.
