We dined at Mayrik this week. We received attentive service from Shane who explained menu choices and educated us on perfect wine pairings, Armenian coffee traditions, and more. Our group of 8 enjoyed the delicious bread, fresh hummus and the best baba ghanouj we've ever tasted. The side dishes of salad, vegetables with sausage, roasted cauliflower, and Armenian dumplings were full of flavour. The roast chicken, steak and roasted potatoes were cooked to perfection. We even found room for a home-made dessert (light, airy and topped with fresh whipped cream - so yummy!). Each dish served was memorable and well-worth the hour+ drive from our home in KW - even for the Vegan in our group, who had ample food options. In addition to excellence in dining, there is a warm and inviting ambiance and sophisticated decor, throughout. We are telling our friends and family to visit and thank Adam and staff for a wonderful evening. We will be back!
Amazing food, fantastic service, beautiful space.
Stand outs: beet salad, lamb chops, hummus and dumplings (sorry, can't remember the traditional names on the menu). I'd pass on babaganoush - (not creamy and garlicky as I like it).
Rose wine was a big hit as was the cocktail special (puréed peaches, gin and elder flower liquor....psst, I despise gin but loved the drink.) Props to the bartender for mixing it as it was meant to be and not substituting vodka as I originally asked.
I will be returning soon for sure. So happy that this awesome place opened up in my 'hood!!
I went there for brunch and it was so fresh and tasty. The menu have many different varieties. Staff were really friendly and the interior design is beautiful and bright. I would go back there for sure.
I liked their coffee too ☕️☕️
The perfect brunch! we always like to eat share style so we’ve ordered most of the dishes on the lunch menu, and honestly we loved it all! The khachapuri is a must! For desert we couldn’t stop eating the baklava! Super delicious food, I highly recommend this restaurant!
This was the first restaurant I visited after Toronto's lockdown was lifted in the summer. Not sure if it was the excitement of being in a restaurant again or what, but I had an amazing time. We tried one appetizer dish and two main courses and all were excellent (lamb shank pictured), and the staff were nice and friendly. Not quite sure how things would be for a larger group but for a couple, the service was top notch.
Very unique menu! We went there for brunch and we really enjoyed it. The food is very good and different.
Will return for lunch or dinner.
We loved our experience there. The food was exceptional. It's fresh, tasty and delicate. Superb service, our server Derek had a great knowledge of the food and wine pairings. Everything was set for you to have a great experience. Thank you
This place is definitely a hidden gem! We went to the midtown location and sat outside on their patio. The service was excellent, and had the following dishes: watermelon halloumi, mante and fattoush. The portion was way bigger than we thought! The food was delicious and well priced. I will definitely come back and try other dishes on the menu. Everything was sanitized properly and even gave us extra plates and utensils if we wanted to share.
