At first, after coming in the front door, I thought, "what the hell, another pub", typical dark colours, bar stools, high tables, the bar right there. Then we were escorted to our table in the back room. ( four of us) Dark paneling, a tv showing an old Frank Sinatra movie ( in black and white) , Edith Pilaf, Marlene Dietrich drawn in chalk, a few phrases written in french on the walls...but what stole the show, our "serveuse" who had the most magnificent french accent, ( we are talking FRENCH here, not Franco-phone) . She was very attentive, but the food stole the show. The menu had typical french cuisine ( several duck dishes) but my veal with butter squash risotto blew me away. My wife and companions all enjoyed their dishes, which were appropriately priced, but you were not left wanting more food after eating what was put in front of you. Dessert, OMG lets not go there. Amazing. It was an amazing experience and I cannot wait to go back. 5 stars is not enough.
Great place to meet friends. Did not like the plating of my brunch dish but it tasted amazing. We all had a wonderful meal. Our server, Jose, was great!
Awesome food, great service, quaint & comfortable place! Will definitely return & recommend!
