Very fresh, tasty,authentic,Japanese food.
I can honestly recommend this place for sushi lovers.

Becky was phenomenal! Excellent customer service from her and the Boston Roll was to die for delicious! Yum yum yum, will def be back!
Have been doing here for years and they never disappoint! Lovely customer service and the food is proper!
So much food! A small little place but delivers big on portions. Ordered gyoza, sashimi dome, and teriyaki chicken bento for two of us and we brought back a full lunch portion with the stuff we couldn’t finish. Service was great and quick, food was fresh and yummy.
The portions were huge! The food tasted great and fresh! I was a happy girl after my meal. The ambience is homely and cosy. It could a great date night spot as well.
Super fresh! Way better than any place within a few miles, if not Toronto! Peaceful, intimate and kind. Perfect for a relaxing and delicious evening.
I have visited this restaurant a few times over the past few months...
Cute little place with limited seating and 3 booths. There are lots of autographs of famous people who have visited the place.
Bathrooms are clean and tidy.
Service is good and attentive. They even let us in a few minutes before they were open one day since it was raining outside.
Really flavourful miso soup served nice and hot.
Toasty tea that was never empty.
Sushi lunch A - delicious fresh fish sliced expertly.
Sashimi lunch - good fish as well but the lukewarm and greasy gyoza served with it was sad.
Tempura soba noodle soup was disappointing because the broth was nearly flavourless...had to add soy and hot sauce to get any taste. At least the tempura served with it was good.
Fish is fresh and prices are decent especially for that area
Would return to try some other dishes!
fresh catches from the maritimed served daily. a complately sustainable, ocean friendly seafood menu that uses herbs and produce culled from venues rooftop garden. a sleek classic design, oyshis oyster bars executive chef titillating offerings, including oyater rockfeller ( hot shellfish with wilted spinach and hollandaise), claims carvonara and seared hokkaido scallop seal the deal.
The first thing I noticed was that the workers are very, very, human. They do not hide behind a mask of professionalism, but instead feel like they are actually serving you. The sashimi we ordered was very fresh and the arrangement was pretty, but the fish was lacking some of its fishiness -- flavour. Otherwise, the food was good. We ordered some plum wine, and the waitress joked about us looking fairly young, but that's not a complaint and it was delicious. I would definitely visit again. A hidden gem. The actual restaurant is also very nicely decorated, with the booths each having their own curtains and walls.
Place was busy, we had to wait 5 minutes to be seated. The hostess attitude was very pleasant, all servers extremely polite and helpful. The salad was so fresh, lettuce so crunchy, taste wonderful. Sushi and sushimi was very fresh and delicious. Will come back again.
Why not 5 stars? The place a little cramped and interior dated.
Great atmosphere in this place, they have little walled off booths for up to 4 people. I got the sake dome and the fish was yummy with a big serving of tasty sushi rice as well. Our server was really friendly!
One of the best places downtown. Great service and they always give me free miso soup 🥰 I also really like the privacy. The sushi is so damn good and I highly recommend the salmon teriyaki. Definitely worth the price.
This small and cozy restaurant located in a side alley is easily missed unless you are looking for it, even more since there are construction nearby. The interior decor gives a nice Japanese vibe, while the food tasted fresh.
