Excellent kekbob place !!
Usually get kebob here a couple of times a week. Ample tables and clean restaurant! employees are also courteous and friendly!
Busy location. Always full. Food is good. I love bamiyan half chicken always taste the same at all locations. Oh and don't forget to try the sher yakh here that's why I give it 4 stars. This ice cream is amazing! All the kebabs here are good. Just wish the rice had some more flavour that's why I get qabili with toppings. Oh and there bolani isn't that bad either!
The food is delicious as is expected of this franchise. The price is good and the value is good. The atmosphere is quite welcoming. I recommend this place for Afghani food.
Chicken kabob is fantastic. The marinade is very flavourful and chicken cooked just perfectly. Meal is huge with lots of rice. Too big for me to finish.
If you are looking to try afghan cuisine this place is the best call. You'll be absolutely satisfied. Make sure you don't come very very hungry cuz the wait might be too long sometimes. But it all worth it. Love this place, people and of course the food itself. Superb seasoning of salads, chatni, kebabs, oh and the yummiest bread. The best place in Toronto. A must visit restaurant!
Great afghan food. Have to say one of the best I've had. Place is always busy and you have to wait for the food. But you know it's fresh and delicious.
Loved it! We have eatan here a handful of times, it has been busy every single time, and there is a reason why. There is about a 20m wait for the food but so well worth it. We had the tandoor chicken and chicken and lamb kofta. Always moist, always perfectly seasoned. The rice is equally as good and love the Afgan naan.
I seriously love the food here. I always buy extra chutney, as I love dipping my naan bread in it. I wish there were more locations. I need one out in Durham!
Best Afghan in Toronto. Meat is cooked over charcoal, gives it that great bbq taste. Place isn't the biggest but always busy. If you never had afghan food this is the place to try.
There are a number of halal fast food restaurants along Overlea Boulevard in the Thorncliffe Park community in East York. Afghan food and Halal restaurants are everywhere but Bamiyan Kabob, which has become a small local chain with locations throughout the GTA, is our favourite. For lunch recently we enjoyed: Chaplee Kabob - two round pieces of ground beef marinated in fresh grated spices $10.49; All meals include rice, salad & naan; Boulagnee - pan fried, stuffed with potato, green onion and herbs.$ 5.99; Choppan Kabob - lamb chops mildly marinated in different spices $10.99; Sultani Kabob - Combination of Barg Kabob (chunks of filet mignon marinated in our seasoning) and Kofta Kabob (lean ground beef marinated in fresh grated spices and seasoning) $13.49; Bamiyan Chicken Breast Kabob Wrap – chicken marinated, served on a soft tortia with lettuce, tomatoes and onions, with Bamiyan’s Famous Sauces $5.79; and red sauce (spicy) and white sauce.
Before covid it used to be my go to lunch place. Now they have increased the prices, charging extra for additional sauce, reduced the size of naan, half chicken came with one less piece, less salad & using smaller plate size.
The quality of food is still great but disappointing to see all the negative changes.
Their wrap is better option than platters. I like chicken tandoori wrap spicy. It is tasty and juicy.

Fresh naans and delicious bbq dishes cooked to order, Bamiyan gets the job done! The food was good although they need to work on their decor, washrooms and facilities.
First time trying Afganistan food. Tried Chicken Kofta with salads, food was fine. Large portion and fair price.
Staff there was not that easy to communicate with in terms of customizing the order. 4 star rate is a balanced review for the food quality and price.
we ordered chaplee kabob and kofta chicken and beef kabob. it was delicious.
nice environment. good customer service.
Variety of mazing food with reasonable price range.
Good kebabs at a very decent price
Liked Chicken chapli and tandoori kebab
You can have it with rice salad and bread
They give it with sauce very tasty I could taste the spices int it must try
Great kebabs. I often pick up. I always ask for the salad to be on the side but they don't always get it and the salad comes mixed in with the hot rice. The combo with one skewer of chicken and one of beef is great as it's enough for two of us.

Bamiyan kabob provide authentic Afgani cousin. The taste of food is very good all the dishes are not spicy. I order kabuli pulao with lamb shank which is really nice 👌.
My other friends which was with me also like and recommend this place who like lamb related dishes or who like beef.
