Never disappoints
I have eaten here many times. I want back with a group of friends last week and Little India did not disappoint. The servers were excellent. We had many dishes and everyone was in agreement that the food was delicious. I highly recommend their Kashmiri Naan.
Being two weeks in Canada, me and my team craving Indian food like anything.
We found this place with an amazing rating and decided to give it a shot and ordered the following:
1. One plate samosa
2. one plate pakora
3. Garlic naan
4. Roti
5. Baigan bhartha
6. Kadhai paneer
7. Kadhai chicken
Even though the food was not as awesome as Indian food usually is, the flavours were not as bad. They were very mild as compared to what we get in India for both paneer and chicken curries but were really good for the craving.
Baigan bhartha was decent too. Would have been better if was mashed with hands instead of being completely mixed up
the things that were exceptionally amazing were the starters - samosa and pakora and garlic naan.
Starters at this place are so good - they are a must try for your cravings especially especially the pakoras.
The food at this price is awesome, probably one of the best Indian places around downtown and queens
One of my favourite Indian restaurants in Toronto. Easily get's busy in the afternoon for the lunch buffet, so you make sure you try to reach early unless you have reserved. The butter chicken was absolutely scrumptious and the other appetizers were good too. The desserts were okay but I was expecting a bit more. On the whole, this is a must-try for Indian food lovers in Toronto. Highly recommended!
Got a biryani from this place last night. It was about to close, they were stacking the chairs, but on asking they took my take away order. Nice biryani, had a good amount of spices. Given that price was a bit higher than the last Indian place I went to, I was expecting it to be very good so it didn't meet my expectation. Staff was polite. Good place, will try more dishes from here.
This restaurant was the last place that I went to in Toronto. As soon as I entered, their staff greeted me and helped me find a table.Their buffet menu is limited. But, I'd say that's sufficient to make your palate taste some good Indian food. I enjoyed my meal and the dessert here. Their staff were courteous and their service was really good. Pricing is moderate. I'd recommend this place if you're looking to try Indian food.
Authentic indian food specially for chicken lovers. I loved the butter chicken tikka . Also ,i liked the staff and service was good. Its an apt place if you are looking for some great indian food.
Visited on a busy Friday night but the service was still outstanding. Had the set menu for two and every single dish was delicious. Great value for money as you get a starter, 3 mains, rice and naan. Also comes with dessert which we did not like as it was cottage cheese in cream, very odd but may just be personal taste. Not enough to detract from the amazing quality of the rest of the meal!
My friend and I ate a meat combo for 2 persons. The prize is fair and portion is super large! Enough for 3 persons! The combo including baked dough, rice, chicken, curry, vegetable salad, lamb, sausage and shrimps
Went there for my first visit a few weeks ago for a late lunch..they have an amazing buffet spread !! Good indian food which is medium on the spice level.Great variety for the appetizers and main course.Decent choices for the dessert as well but i was pretty much full by the time i got to dessert.Their masala chai is a must have !!
Veg Spring roll was super great. Lamb Biryani was also nice but they used a little more salt. Because of too much waiting for food they offered us free Gulab Jamun. Overall ok experience.
This place served some really delicious Indian Food. The place was almost full despite another Indian resturant near by. The place was very clean. The staff was impressively quick to clean the table and readjust the cloths, glasses, chairs etc. Ordered Spring roll, Masala Dosa, Rasmalai in sweedish and finally the Spices (masla) Chai. All the ordered items were very good , fresh and tasty. Drinks are also served here. Food portions are good and the price is also reasonable. The service is quick and caring. Nice experience indeed.
We went here to have dinner and the food was really great. We ordered chicken pakora, vegetarian thali and kothu roti. Kothu Roti was amazing and they had with egg or chicken. Chicken pakora was tasty but the spicy level was less. They do have regular tea and coffee and it was okay.
We visited them few months ago. Service was really good. Cocktail kababs could have been better . Our server came during and after our meal.. keep it up guys. And yes sahi paneer is a must try..
We ordered spicy chicken curry(very spicy), lamb, and eggplant with naan and rice. The food was really good. I ordered red wine, taste like it has been opened long time. So I took one star off.
A Feast treat for those who come alone.
Little India restaurant really nailed a lone foodie’s needs. They had the Meat Combo for one which I ordered which included a variety of curry and marinated BBQ along side Palau Rice and freshly baked naan(like, out of the oven type of fresh, with the crunch!). WOW was it perfect. You can try lots of their dishes in one go at the perfect serving size at a very reasonable price. The combo itself was 25 cad but hell it is the most worth it 25 I’ve spent alone in a restaurant.
