Great food, made with fresh ingredients. Lovely atmosphere and wonderful service, just perfect for a romantic dinner. Their Seafood is delicious. We also tried the lamb and it was as good as the seafood.

Had a great dinner here and would recommend! The team here was very accommodating to our large group and had a great ambiance at the restaurant. We tried many of the seafood dishes (++fresh) and all were great. In particular, the mixed seafood with risotto was delicious. I tried my friend's gnocchi dish which was amazing as well. Will hopefully get to try this place again in the future!
Good atmosphere, impeccable service. The food is great with a wide variety of choices yet without compromising on quality.
I want to give a special mention to our waiter (tall Asian guy with a short pony tail) whom I unfortunately did not catch his name. He is so passionate about his job and does it well. He made sure that we had the best experience possible, he is friendly, hospitable and attentive to our needs and requests, especially when my in-law requested the steak to be cooked well-done (I would have told him to order chicken), he made sure that my in-law was satisfied with the shoe leather that he ordered.
We had a good time here, will definitely visit again when we visit Toronto again.
La Fenice offers a superb dining experience. Conveniently located in the heart of Entertainment District. Low-key and elegant. The staff here are friendly. The food has great taste overall, with extremely juicy, soft meat and aromatic seafood. Presentation 10/10. However, Fettuccine Bolognese was a bit dry although it had a unique flavor and excellent texture. Generally, I would definitely recommend La Fenice to the reader, and I will most likely plan on revisiting :)
Visiting from Vancouver with my partner and came across La Fernice while exploring downtown, and it was meant to be - our server Kelly and the restaurant director Greg were so kind (and both from our hometown of Edmonton!) and the food was some of the best authentic Italian we’ve ever had.
The grilled shrimp is HIGHLY recommended, the linguine vongole with white wine sauce was delicious and generous with the clams and you know the pasta is good when there is so much flavor from simple ingredients with the linguine aglio e olio.
Thank you for an amazing dining experience and we will definitely be back next time we are in Toronto!
Greg was amazing and even helped me set up an anniversary surprise for my girlfriend with flowers I bought earlier in the day and brought to La Fenice. Our server Sivan was lovely and very knowledgeable. She made excellent food suggestions which we ordered and knew exactly what to do when it was time to open a bottle of wine and serve us. Outstanding service, food and ambiance all around. 10/10
Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Their grilled dishes are the best in Toronto! Have had many grilled selections from La Fenice and their seafood dishes are especially on point. Today, I had grilled shrimp as a starter and it was just soooo good! Lovely clam pasta as well. Most importantly, they always have exceptional service. I regret not asking our server's name today, who served us from 5:30pm to 8pm (October 20th.) Thanks to La Fenice for the wonderful food and hospitality!
It’s like having dinner with friends! The service was amazing. The food is so good! I had the veal chop at the recommendation of the waiter and I was not disappointed. If you’re thinking of going to the keg or Baton Rouge this is a much better option. The food tastes better and value for money is outstanding. Why pay more for food that doesn’t taste as good and be stuck in a busy atmosphere feeling like you’re part of a corporate chain. No I say check out this awesome little Italian restaurant.
We love it here! We've dined in so many times because it's always such a great experience, you always feel well taken care of. Great food and wine options. Take out is also great for when dine in is closed - great eggplant sandwiches. Definitely check them out when we can dine in again, you won't regret it!
