5 * every time. This is the place for the best menu and service and friends. Short story...we just arrived back from overseas and that day we asked for gin and tonics. But we wanted tonic from a can not the line stuff. Our wonderful server went a few doors up and came back with it. Splendid. Anne said to our bartender please tell the owner that this was above and beyond the best service ever. Lisa said "I am the owner". We go nowhere else. Ever.

I'm a regular at the Rose because I'm never disappointed. Fantastic live music, reasonably priced drink and friendly staff to name a few!

Came here with a large group of friends for dinner on a Wednesday evening. The atmosphere is charming - it took me right back to the time I was in Ireland! It was relatively quiet while we were there, but there was good energy and the waiter was attentive.

I had the Cajun Chicken Burger with Fries. Both the taste and price (~$15, including tax) were average.

Overall, it seems like a nice place to have a pint with some friends and I'd probably return if I were in the area just to get a dose of the atmosphere again.

Ok place to watch the world go by. Sit in the front in good weather to people watch, especially if they have the windows open. I rarely eat there but my friends seem to find the food acceptable. Prices seem slightly high though.

Great pub food. The Rose and Crown serves excellent pub food - I haven't tried a single thing I didn't like. From their curries, pies, fish and chips, bangers and mash, to their deep-fried mars bar.
