This is a great restaurant. We held our wedding lunch there this past weekend, and it was fantastic. The service was great, and the food was amazing! Can’t say enough about this place, we were very pleased!
My friends and I went here for Summerlicious last night and it was great. The steak was tender and the mashed potatoes were delicious. The brownie dessert was decadent and the perfect end to the evening (though a scoop of vanilla ice cream would make it even better). I would definitely go back.
Great food and service again
One of my favourite restaurants in downtown Toronto and did not disappoint again. Excellent Wagyu bavette steak and creme brulee for dessert will keep me coming back. The bartender should learn how to layer a black and tan beer properly though....
I came on a Tuesday night for a Summerlicious dinner. We had a reservation and were seated shortly after arriving. The restaurant has a charming, Irish vibe. The servers were also courteous and great at their work (they never once had to ask who ordered what when setting plates down! - a big plus for service). I ordered the Watermelon and Feta Salad (Appetizer), Steak Frites (Entree), and Fudge Brownie (Dessert). The taste of the food was good and portions left you satisfied, but the quality of the food for Summerlicious was a little short of the price paid (approx. $43 after tax and tip).
As a sidenote, the washrooms were well kept.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. I would return in the future for a meal in general if I'm in the area again.
Usually I'm wary about restaurants located in a hotel but Quinn's proved me wrong. Despite being a steakhouse, dad and I were in no mood for red meat as we have been eating way too much this trip. We went against the against the grain and ordered salmon and veggie penne instead, and we were rewarded with a tender and flaky salmon with a crisped skin, and a rich and creamy veggie penne. The mixed green salad was so-so, and so was the pecan pie that was more like a caramel pie topped with pecans. The cheesecake was dense and smooth, and I forgo my pecan pie for my dad's cheesecake.
Despite the hotel hosting the athletes of the Invictus Games, and thus resulting in the restaurant being swarmed by hungry athletes and officials, the service was still flawless and prompt.
I had my first Summerlicious Lunch of 2017 at Quinn's with my team at work.
Quinn's is located at Sheraton Hotel beside Nathan Phillips Square - The restaurant looks a tad dated, but I suppose others would say it upholds the charm of an Irish Pub. Either way, it was cosy and we were seated immediately.
For the $23 Summerlicious Lunch, I ordered:
Appetizer - Corn & Sweet Peach Chowder
Main - Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Fries
Dessert - Quinn's Cheesecake with Fresh Ontario Berry Compote
The Chowder was sweet and delicious.
The Chicken Sandwich was stellar! The chicken breast was wonderfully moist and beautifully cooked. I have to say it's one of the better chicken sandwiches I've had in a very long time.
The Cheesecake was AMAZING, creamy, and the berry compote was so fabulous! (I doubt they make their own cheesecake though)
My major complaint is the service. We entered the restaurant at 12, and our server took our order at 12:35! Now that is A LOT of time to wait for service.
I understand it was Summerlicious and in turn, restaurants are quite busy, however we were starving by the time the food came and it was not a pleasant experience. We ended up leaving the restaurant at 2 pm - Not many people can take 2 hours off for a Work Lunch.
Surprisingly had a good meal here. Waitress was Eastern European and very attentive. She understood the menu and the options. I had the baby back ribs, good deal for $29 I reckon. Service and food was super quick, just what I was looking for.
I reminisced about the steakhouse that stood in the Sheraton hotel once upon a time. The yummy steaks and fresh croutons they offered there are still vividly in my mind.🤔 Now stands in it's place is Quinn's Steakhouse & Irish Pub. I was hoping that I can recreate the fond memories I had at the old steakhouse.😄
We ordered two steaks. The Ontario Hanover Farms New York Striploin and the 14 once AAA Alberta ribeye steak. For our appetizer we landed on the classic escargots. The steaks were done very nicely. Grilled to absolute perfection! The steaks were medium rare and done perfectly just as we had requested. The sweet meat aroma lingered on my palate as I took each bite. The only complaint that I had was the fact the ribeye steak wasn't intact with the bone? I was dissapointed with that as the menu didn't mention that the steak was 'boneless'? Why was the bone missing?🙄 I personally prefer the bone intact with the meat. The reason being the meat stays juicier. Nontheless, I really enjoyed the steaks. I was also quite impressed with the escargots! They were one of best escargots I've had in a while. The sauce it sat in was absolutely mesmerizing and it accompanied well with the slices of bagette toast it came with. I wanted slurp all the sauce that sat on my plate! It was really that good!🤗
Will I be returning to Quinn's? In a heartbeat! ❤ Although I still missed the old steakhouse that once stood there. I think I will be able to create some new memories at Quinn's!🍴🍛🐌🐄🍷🤔
I purchased a Groupon for Quinn's Steakhouse ($29 for $50) and visited there last night. My girlfriend ordered the special which was a 10oz top sirloin w/ 3 shrimp ($30) and I ordered the 12oz ribeye with a side of blue cheese ($36 + $7). Mine was cooked Chicago-style and they hit it on the head. Hers was cooked medium-rare and was also done wonderfully. Our server was very personable and definitely added to the experience. We finished with a cheesecake ($7) and left very satisfied. Great job!
Came here for breakfast while staying in the hotel, received great service and the food was very good.
Returned that evening to the bar to watch the Blue Jays game. The bartender Justin was absolutely amazing! He did his job very well was personable and funny, yet very professional. We ate supper here too and the food was once again amazing.
Quinn’s Steakhouse is located in the heart of downtown. It’s a large establishment to suit groups of all sizes. We had a group of 7, but only made a reservation for 5 and they were able to accommodate us. It was a weekday, so they weren’t as busy, not sure if they could do it on a weekend.
I like it. Went there once and ordered the Filet Mignon. The steak was cooked perfectly and the quality of meat was very good. It's not over priced like some places in the downtown area but you get quality. Returning to the Sheraton Center this weekend and I've already booked reservations at Quinn's
It was a great evening served with top quality food. Excellent customer service and enjoyed the ambience. Top quality meat. Definitely recommend.
Good times and delicious food. I had the lobster mac and I wouldn't change anything about it. The rest of the table had steak and the surf and turf, empty plates at the end so that must be a good sign. The service was a bit slow, for a New Years Eve dinner they should have been better prepared. The ambiance is fantastic to share a few drinks with friends or family. I like this restaurant because it's easy to book a table and the food is really good, considering the location it has attractive menu prices.
My friends and I were here for summerlicious. The service was excellent. Our server was very pleasant and cheerful and the portions were just right. The steak was excellent, the chowder was fabulous and the salads were perfect. Dessert was a choice between brownies, rhubarb pie and a poppyseed cake I think. We had all 3 to share. I will be back for the steak.
We went to Quinn's for dinner and it was a great experience. From the service from the waiter to the food it was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious, especially the crab cakes which I constantly crave. The steak was cooked exactly how I asked which was a big thing for me as it's either cooked well or raw at some other places I visited. The chicken was delicious from the few bites I had. We did order virgin ceasars which were also great. The desserts were also on point here. The creme brulee was amazing I felt like I should have ordered another. The pecan brownie I think it was was also great. They didn't cheap out on the desserts and were absolutely worth it.
Steakhouses have always been one of my favorite category of restaurants, and with this year's summerlicious I finally got a chance to try Quinn's.
Appetizers
Corn & Sweet Pepper Chowder
Chilled Tomato Gazpacho
Quinn's House Salad
Entrée
Steak Frites
Salmon and Quinoa Bowl
Steakhouse Burger
Desserts
Double-chocolate Fudge Brownie
Lemon-Poppyseed Cake
Blackberry & Ontario Rhubarb Crisp
The gazpacho will be refreshing to have for this summer with this extreme heat we are experiencing. I really love the steak with the lemon aioli, it's a perfect match, and I highly recommended you to try it if you love steaks too. As for the desserts my personal favorite would be the Blackberry & Ontario Rhubarb Crisp, it's a bit sweet and yet sour, thus feels less filling. The fudge brownie is very rich in favour as well, recommended for chocolate lovers.

I came here for summerlicious 2019. The food and service were both really good. Though I will say that I didn’t particularly like the chicken salad. The soup was amazing. Would definitely come back.
Food isn't bad. Steak was cooked well. Presentation was good. The lamb shank was soft and fall off the bone good. Pricing isn't bad for the location. Though the prices for the drinks were a bit more expensive.
Great little spot. Butternut squash ravioli they had for summerlicious was so good it had me wanting more. Service was like an oiled machine. Due to portion size being not very filling I had to deduct a star. Overall great discovery!
