What a lovely experience! We’ve tried the pasta tasting menu with wine pairing and everything was spot on! Food, wine, service, ambiance.
My favorite was definitely the ravioli for all its amazing flavours coming together so nicely! Wine was also great, although I do wish we could see the bottles rather than just getting glasses served. I am not as familiar with Italian wines and seeing the region / grape would be helpful.
Amazing service and a great chef who explained every little detail of the dishes. He’s very passionate and aims for perfection.
Absolutely loved the experience and will be back to try the rest of the menu!
I was just driving by, and noticed the restaurant on my way home.. so I just got some take out... So while I was waiting for my food, I was paying attention to what was going on.. And here's what I can tell u... the atmosphere was charming, the environment.. relaxed, and the attentiveness from the staff to their patrons was obvious!, I will definitely go there to eat sometime soon! (quick post note...the appetizer I got was amazing! )
What an experience. The ambiance, service, food, wine.. everything was exceptional! We sat at the bar - the bartender was lovely. Made sure we were well taken care of even though they were were severely short staffed.
For apps we got the rapini. A lovely prequel to our dinner. Nicely sautéed with just the right amount of pecorino and garlic. When you get a charred piece, it’s simply amazing.
For dinner we got the cacio e pepe and agnolotti. The Cacio e Pepe was fresh, perfectly al dente, with just the right amount of pecorino and freshly cracked pepper. A wonderful carb overload. I can see why it’s immensely popular. But the true star is the agnolotti. The lemon ricotta paired with the mushrooms is sublime. Definitely a must try.
For dessert we had torta caprese with some amaro. Excellent dessert. Very rich but if you’re a chocolate fan, this is a must try.
We had a memorable date night and we’ll definitely be back!
Intimate spot with a bit of an open kitchen concept. The gnocchi was pillowy and melts in your mouth. If you want pasta with more chew, go for the other ones, like the cacio e pepe which was amazing. Simple ingredients but high quality.
Wish that the bread given to us before our meal came was complimentary, had to pay for that as an addition.
Great interiors, warm.service and yummy dishes overall. Portions were a little small, but quality is tops. The Ariabatta was so good, as was the other pasta dishes. Tiramisu was also great.
We were there for our wedding anniversary and enjoyed each and every moment over there. Lovely staff and Yummy food.. I like the open kitchen consept ... it's little noisy but when the restaurant is good you can expect that.. I like red wine .. so good, it balances the food. We enjoyed the desert called corta caprese... So yummy 😋
a really nice place for either a date or a small group of friends. the interior was very rustic and unique, i felt like i was transported to europe (even though ive never been). we went during a tues evening and there were only a few people seated before us so it was pretty quiet.
the food was super flavourful and i dont think it was too salty as some people have mentioned, although they do use a lot of salt (but from watching italian cooking vids, i think this is the standard). we ordered the grilled rapini and the sourdough to start and im so glad we did because that rapini was so juicy and full of flavour with a bit of crisp, and the bread was of course delicious. we also ordered cacio e pepe and bucatini all’amatriciana, both of which were amazing and perfectly al dente. the porchetta was our last dish and it was great as well, the salsa verde was really amazing.
our server was franchesco and he was really great, very welcoming and was patient with all of our questions and indecisiveness lol. all in all, im glad i got to try this place and i would love to come back and try more of their pastas and maybe the rib eye!
