I loved this restaurant. It's a great dumpling house with reasonable prices. All of the dishes were $5-10 with great portions. The pan-fried pork dumplings were incredibly juicy and the noodles in soup were delicious. Would recommend. Will definitely be returning sometime!
Had been to Mississauga location... chicken n mushroom is a must try. We tried soup as well...portion is amazing with reasonable price . If you ordering soup better order one for two persons cos of the portion....
A great little dumpling place! Come here and expect to be satisfied and very, very full. Service is quick, prices are low, and portions are big. One of my favourite items here are their pan-fried dumplings. They come stuck together in a crispy, golden sheet. Delicious! They also have various hot pots with assorted toppings that are worth a taste. I definitely recommend this place to dumpling lovers ; )
Chinese Dumpling house is located in one of the oldest Asian plazas Commerce Gate in Markham among many other restaurants. I personally love Chinese dumplings so we come here quite often. Let's take a look at a few of our favourite dishes!. Sliced Pork Belly With Garlic Soy Sauce. For starters, we ordered the pork belly cold dish. This is a classic Sichuan dish that is very well known. The pork has a good distribution of fat and meat but it was not the smoothest and softest pork belly we had. The garlic and soy sauce was very flavorful but I wish the garlic was less chunky. A finer grind would give the dish a better distribution of flavour.

Came to this place with friends. It's located in the commerce gate plaza at highway 7 and commerce valley drive west. A large parking lot and underground parking. Lots of spaces. That being said, ive been here when there have been no parking spots available. Usually between 7 and 9 on or 11am to 2 pm in the weekend. I live within walking distance so I'm good.
So we came as a group of 10. Sat at a big round table in the back. We came on a Monday at six for dinner. There was only one other table occupied.
When I first came in I was assaulted by the smell of seafood. It was off pitting, made me wonder where the heck my friend suggested. The scent changed in the restaurant itself, smelled like cooking food. Much better
Funny, about 20 minutes in, I looked up and the place was full. Literally no empty chairs!
Service was fast and the tables turned over really quick. Also, they do a big takeout business. People were coming in and out like crazy
Prices are pretty inexpensive and you get a lot of really good food for the price. I was really impressed! We ordered so much food. There was a point where all the dumpling trays were stacked on top of each other and we had to stand to serve. Everything tasted great. There was nothing we didn't like (yay).
This place is called the Chinese dumpling house but its not just dumplings, there are salads, noodles, soups, meat dishes. Yum. But their specialty is Dumplings. Tens of fillings. Lots and lots of choice. Steamed or fried, both were fantastic. I will be back!!
$5 for 15 dumplings? You really can't go wrong here!
Whenever I'm craving dumplings, I always come here!! The green onion pancake is delicious here but only if you like the crispy kind! My boyfriend is more partial towards the flat, chewy green onion pancake so he was not a fan.
Note: Their lamb dumplings are wonderful!

Lately, as the weather is getting frosty, I've been eating a lot of dumplings ... and I mean a lot! For me, du mplings are the perfect remedy for a cold , cold night. My go-to dumpling place in Richmond Hill is Chinese Dumpling House. I tried sliced pork belly with garlic soy sauce ($5.99), a cold dish that I 've loved since childhood. This one was a bit salty even though the meat was quite tasty on its own . I wished the soy sauce had been served on the side instead. M y usual order is a basketful of p ork and leek dumplings ($4.99 for 15). Cheap a nd delicious, you can't go wro ng with the dumplings here ! If leek isn't your cup of tea, there are 12 other ki nds of dumplings to choose from, ranging from lamb to vegetable fillings.
I have been coming to this location (Metro Square) for years since it is my mom's favorite dumpling house in town. Every type of dumpling is freshly steamed and the wrap is the thinnest one in Toronto. Whether they are steamed or pan fried, you can't go wrong. During the winter months, you have to order their Hot and Sour soup. It is so spicy that it will heat up your tummy. For soup noodles, you have to try their Dai Lo noodle. There are so many veggies in there that it will take yourself an hour just to prepare the ingredients. Skip the agony, just order it at Chinese Dumpling House! Go now! Their prices are very reasonable.
If you're looking for some really tasty Northern Chinese cuisine, this place is a hidden gem! From the outside it looks very unassuming and inside is also runned down...but the food is delicious!
I am in love with the cold potato dish, sweet, sour and garlicky! I am so glad to have found this place...everything I have tried so far has been delicious.
The noodle dish is the original version that Koreans took inspiration from to make jajangmyun. The noodle texture was amazing but the flavors were just very salty.
The dumplings were pretty decent but not amazing.

This place has a decent selection of dumplings. I’m not an expert at dumplings so to me they were pretty good in taste. Not sure about exceptional, but I would still visit again if Im around the area and want to to for dumplings.
Washroom could be a bit cleaner though.
This restaurant's dumplings are all hand made fresh. Quality has been good for the past few years, one of my go to for 🥟
They not only have dumplings but also many traditional cuisines in the east west of china. Nothing fancy but homemade dishes (which I like a lot, personally) It was pretty nice given that it cost us less than $30 per person.
They seem to handmade the dumplings. Saw they making it beside the cashier area.
