This place is not as good with the new owners. I first went here a few years ago and loved it. Now I would only go if I'm in the area craving a fruit slush (you can get real fruit). The banh mi's have more lettuce and less meat, the salad rolls have too much lettuce (filler) and it's just not what it used to be. The current owners are very nice but it's a shame they made changes to the food. I was going to change my vote but I would still go for the fresh fruit slushes.

Bahn Mi in South Surrey. Was in the neighborhood so I thought I would try it out. Their bubble tea was decent. I tried out their bahn mi as well and it wasn't too bad. The bread was nice and fresh, not too doughy. The filling was plentiful. However the pickled daikon and carrot was way too sweet. Their sandwiches also included lettuce. A bit more expensive than the shops on Kinsway. Perhaps the are catering to their clientle in this area. I would probably come back when I am back down here.

Great place for vietnamese subs and bubble tea!. This vietnamese eatery is located in the same mall with Rona. It's next to O.P Pizza. It's a simple stylish cafe with wi-fi and a flat screen tv. There are about 3 tables that seat 4 ppl each and then there is a little couch area to sit and drink coffee or lounge. They serve vietnamese foods muffins and bubble tea. I go here for the subs(I'm quite picky about vietnamese subs lol but I find this place actually makes decent good ones)-the meatball and chicken ones are my favourite. The bread used for the subs is good. Nice and soft-slightly toasted. They also have wonton soup and vietnamese vermicelli rolls with filled with shrimp and served with fish sauce dip. I always buy the taro slush bubble tea with pearls because here it's actually well made. Not watery at all and pearsl are soft, sweet and chewy. I have also tried the lychee slush-which I didn't think was that great-a little watery and I have tried the strawberry/mango combo slush which was good. Pricing wise, this place is okay. The subs are $3.95 each and the bubble teas start at around $4.00+. Rolls are about $5-$6 for two. I don't know about the pricing of the coffees but they have a variety. I would recommend trying this place if you're hungry for something vietnamese style especially their subs! They're open from Mon -Sat til 6pm.
