I've grown up with this local favorite being just down the street. The turkey strips are our go to for a great lunch with friends- love both the spicy and original, especially with honey dill or honey mustard dipping sauce! Years and years ago they had a different recipe for the strip batter that had a lot more herbs and spices and even peppercorn. I personally preferred the flavors of those strips much more (bring it back please ๐๐๐). My sister loves their lemon squares and I can highly recommend their sandwiches. The tables and the general ambience is a lot more "deli" than restaurant, but the cute turkey decorations give a very homey feel.
If I were to change anything about this restaurant, it would be that they charge more for dipping sauces (๐) and that the service could be a little more inclusive. On multiple occasions when I've been there, the servers have definitely favored the older regular customers who are back multiple times a week: they get coffee refills, water refills, cleared dishes, and generally much more attention while other guests are often overlooked.
