One of my fav Japanese Restaurants. Sashimi & Volcano roll are the best!!!
Food is awesome for the price.....will definitely go back there. Food servers are very friendly....
Tonight my wife and I began our week off together with some tasty Sushi. I ordered the miso soup, Alaska Roll, and Salmon/Avocado Roll. My wife ordered a California Roll with Sweet Potato and Prawn Tempura. The rolls were perfectly prepared and tasted great. The Miso Soup was not overly salty and I found it soothing. The Tempura was nicely battered and flavourful and the sauce didn’t overpower the meal but added a nice flavour of ginger which was nice. Service was very quick and servers were courteous and attentive.
I really like this sushi restaurant. The menu reminds me a lot of The Eatery in Vancouver. However, it can get super busy at lunch time.
My friend and I shared the roll "Burning Cheese". It tasted really good. It was a light deep fry with a nice sauce. I then had the agadeshi tofu. I found it to be lightly battered with a nicely flavoured sauce. It wasn't too soggy either and held its shape.
Then I had a roll combo which came with a dynamite roll, California roll, salmon and tuna rolls. The dynamite roll was good but slightly sliced too thin. The salmon and tuna rolls were nice but they didn't use the nicest fish in the rolls therefore being stiff rolls and difficult to chew. The California roll was nice, however again thick with ingredients.
Aside from the fact the restaurant was busy hence service being decreased, I wish their rolls were not as stiff and were slightly lighter. I will return but probably not at lunch.
Free green tea, super cheap sushi and tastes great!!The decor is pretty simple but the staff are friendly and welcoming. The only reason I don't give it 5/5 would be the location's accessibility. Walking or taking a bus to here is super easy. But if you're driving there then the only way to enter this restaurant's parking lot is driving down King George eastbound.
The food is cheap and the portions are big. Yeah they get busy but you get your food, it's my favourite sushi place! Favourite roll is the flying unicorn roll :)
We love this place, the food is delicious and fair priced. The service is hit or miss, sometimes my son's tamago nigiri comes right away sometimes it comes 20 minutes later. As well we often get our salads after the rolls. Other then one time of slightly burnt Tako Yaki, everything has been deliscious. The Seafood Salad is amazing, a wonderfully large portion of seafood with a delicious dressing. There are so many good things to say I think I'll just leave it at "A Must Try".
Sushi & Roll Restaurant is located nearby Surrey Central Skytrain Station, which is closer to our apartment. Because of this, my boyfriend and I have already been to this Sushi Restaurant. This is a middle size restaurant and always has a big lineup during lunch and dinner time. So, I strongly suggest don’t come to this place right on Lunch or Dinner time. It will be super busy and you have to wait for the line to get in. The servers there were very friendly and nice. The food was very fresh and tasty. The food came fast and price of the food was cheaper. It’s very great place to go.
Fast and friendly service even though it was really busy. Food was okay overall. The rice on my mangodise roll, however, was old and hard. Asked for water and they gave me a cup half empty. Cheap food.

Love this place. Big variety of really yummy special rolls. Good service. Non-beatable prices. Sometimes they are very crowded but it's definitely worth to wait.

Hands down best sushi in Whalley area. You can tell by the constant line up that it's a bumpin and happenin spot. We regularly order take out and the sashimi or spicy sashimi is an enormous amount for what you pay. I also love the rabbit roll which is wrapped in cucumber instead of rice for all you low carbers ;)
