Had a large group (20+) people, made a reservation - Absolutely amazing! The waitress Tran was seriously great, remembered everything, was always smiling. Great place to bring clients, good atmosphere, good food, good drinks, and amazing waitresses. We will definitely be back with clients and on our own.
Best venue I've performed in, best group of people to take me in at a new spot. In oldschool hiphop terms it's "the place to be" haha The pizza is outrageous too 🍕

I ordered the Tuna Tacos and cream of tomato soup. The soup was excellent and a generous serving. The tacos were quit a sight in the way of presentation, and exciting in flavours. I would have preferred the tuna a little chunkier however. My mom's fries came cold and were replaced by a fresh serving. Everybody else was happy with their meals. The calamari were supposedly exceptional and came with plenty of tsatsiki.
Service was very friendly and accommodating.
Had one of their blue cheese BBQ burgers with beer fries and it was one of the best looking and tasting burgers I have ever had, staff was friendly had a red haired server that seemed to know about everything on the menu. Their craft beer selection is amazing if you like pale ales try Old Jalopy from Powell st.

How does the taphouse have a rating this low?! Their food is awesome! They have a great chef he makes a special eggs Benny for brunch on the weekends that's always out of this world. Their hollaindaise is my favourite from any other place. I don't think there is anything on the menu that I actually don't like and I live nearby so I'm there a lot. They have really great happy hour specials that start again after 9pm. Nightly entertainment including an incredible musician on Tuesday nights who takes requests. Do you know that they offered me a blanket, A BLANKET, once when it was cold on the patio? Their management is incredible, their employees are great the only issue I've ever had is on holidays when it gets too busy it's tough to handle because this place is so popular. I love that every night I go in something different could be happening. 2.2 rating? People must be high off their asses. This place is awesome the responses from the staff who comment on this site are an honest reflection of how great my 50 - 100 meals here have been.

Great pizza and the staff is pretty good. The place has a nice vibe.
My only issue is that one night I sat on the patio with some friends and watched the security staff harass people over and over again , didn't matter if the people were 20 or 45 !! Wayne get your security staff to start treating your potential costumes right!!! This ain't the old mirage ! I have never had any issues with security so I am just writing about things I've seen .

Great Place BUT food has to improve!. Been here twice now and enjoyed my time . Service was great ...Love the Tap Bar BUT they need to improve there menu and food .... I'm no chef but I know food ... And between the 10 dishes I've tried ... They have almost all been under seasoned and blan, especially the Tuna Sandwich and my Chicken Cobb salad ...need to improve or change these dishes ... Flavour people !!! Come on Man ! ..... With that being said ... We will def go back .... And enjoy the atmosphere and great Taps ...but maybe eat before until the chef kicks it up a knotch !
Exceeded Expectations!. It was very busy when my friend and I arrived at the taphouse the other night, we asked for a table to accommodate a girls party of 8 and were told a table would be available in 20mins. We were seated in less than 20mins and were even given the private room! Everyone from the hostess, servers, management, and chef were nothing but gracious, accommodating, and very friendly =) We appreciated the service and the atmosphere and will definitely be returning again. Shout out to the chef for the amazing and yummy food!
Fun!. Went with 8 girlfriends for a birthday party last night and had a great time! Food and service were awesome! They made my best friend feel so special on her birthday! At 10 a live band played and there was a dance floor. We remember partying at the mirage in our 20's and now we can still enjoy it in our 30's! Surrey needed a place like the taphouse! We will be back soon!

A new beginning for Guildford. Service has been on point for both times I have been here. On my first visit with friends, the food took unusually long from order to our table. The restaurant had only been open a couple of days at that point, so we understood that the kitchen staff were still getting use to the traffic. Our second visit was during a Canucks game and the restaurant was really busy. It was a nice that they had the game playing on multiple televisions, so no matter where you sat you had a good view of the game. Our waitress was very attentive. She was consistently making sure everything was ok. Food has been alright, the menu is diverse and there are unique choices. There are places for improvement in terms of organization but that will go with time. We also took a look on the second floor of the restaurant. It was more intimate and quiet. There was another bar upstairs and a billiards table.
Staff tends to be on the approachable side and friendly. Opening doors as you enter and exit the restaurant. It's these extra steps in service which make the difference. A place in customer service I find a lot of restaurant lack in. Hopefully the service continues to be this way and not just for the time being. It's definitely a great addition to the Guildford area and a huge step up from the Mirage Night Club which was the property before. Between the atmosphere, food and service we've received I'd say it's a place you have to check out.

Went there for the weekend brunch. Brunch item was awesome!
Would have given 5 stars if not for the fish & chips I ordered. Wouldn’t call the fish & chips rather maybe fish fingers. Got my longest fries I could find to show how big the fish was served.

First time trying food from Taphouse and it was really awesome. Did not think I would like the steak bites appy as much as I did but, that dish was done really well. Nice chunky pieces, not over cooked, and still surprisingly fairly tender even as take out. I liked the dip that comes with it too.
Ribs were top notch too. Falling off the bone as you tear pieces of it off.
Had the cheesecake and it was ok. I was expecting more of a different texture but, it kind of seemed more like it had a yogurt base, just not my thing.
I thought the price was fairly reasonable as the food turned out great overall.
Only thing that turned me off was the server who first got to me. Told me there was no ordering through the phone, which I ordered through the phone, otherwise I would not be there to pick up. They then walked off to whatever they were doing before without trying to check if there was an order or not. Had to ask another person to help.
Good thing the food was really good.
Had the big T burger it was solid, lots of meat super tall but eat able. I highly recommend the short rib is delicious too. Yam fries all the way.
Also the Thai lime bowl was tasty and fresh. Great patio, my little dog got to stay next to your table in the parking lot area.
LOVE this place! With every experience I’ve had at this location, the waitresses were beyond friendly and helpful. The kitchen staff does an amazing job with the food, it come out quick and cooked to perfection! (the Macaroni is to die for) and the overall layout and quality of the place is very enjoyable. This place pays attention to detail and it is noticeable! Highly recommend!!
Had an excellent experience tonight for our first visit to the Taphouse. Our server, Dana D. was a true pro, engaging, friendly and down to earth. In fact, all of the staff we encountered obviously enjoy their jobs and are happy to be there. The food was tasty, fresh, perfectly sized portion, and came out quickly. Great drink and beer selection at good price points. We also enjoyed the music and fun atmosphere. We will be back!
I had a great experience at Taphouse. My friends and I have been going for years and it's always great. Whether you go during the day for lunch or in the evening for drinks it's always a lovely experience. The bartenders Ethan, Noah, Alex and Danny are always great to chat with. Fidel has always treated us like family as well. I send the best regards to Adam for doing such a great job running this establishment.
There are a lot of good to very good neighborhood pubs around the Surrey/Langley region. This is one of them.
I sat down with a big screen right in front of me, and was disappointed that it was showing basketball, when I knew there were a couple of important hockey games on. Since I wasn't a regular, I didn't feel like asking for the hockey game.
I felt slighted, and I wanted to not like the place. However, the two of us were greeted with friendly efficient service, they had exactly the beer I wanted, and the finger food we noshed on was very tasty. I left feeling like I would be happy to go back when the occasion arose. And next time I might even ask to have a hockey or football game on one of the TVs.
Only went for drinks so can't comment on any food items, but they have good drink specials like the PB&J shots, and happy hour looks decent. Awesome patio tho and a big screen inside to sporting events.
