My family used to visit this restaurant all the time when it was on King George and 32nd. RIP California Benny with presto & shrimp... coming back here was like euphoria. The menu is relatively the same, you got your classic waffles, pancakes and bennies... my very favourite SHREDDED HASHBROWNS are still here! Thank you for not removing them off the menu.

I love this place, their omelets and breakfast are amazing. They have patio so you are able to eat there following the covid new rules. This is the first place where we ate when we first arrived to Canada and is still by far my favorite.

As you can see, my omelet spanned the width of my plate. It was huge. This place is a gem! Staff is very friendly, food is tasty, and the booths are comfy - there are plenty of windows allowing bright light in. Love it.

Our breakfast was group-friendly dining, with 20 friends, in the upstairs private room. All protocols in place. Very smart to have the coffee self-service. Overall the staff were good but the breakfast farmhand plate portions were a little disappointing. The eggs benedict looked good but again small portions. The sourdough bread toast was very good.

We were there August 27 around dinner time. Cute clean place older with the charm and character of an older diner. Service was fantastic and extremely friendly. Felt more like being at a friends house then at a random resteraunt. Server also incuded my kids in conversation and was very pleasant. Highly recommend.

Went for brunch with my nana. Had a great time. Our server was awesome lots of enthusiasm! "JAZZ HANDS" LOL IS all that came to our heads but she was great. Always has been a family go to breakfast meet up spot. Highly recommended if your passing through from the states and want some Canadian bacon with a side of grade A customer service!

My kids just took me here for the first time for my birthday breakfast. Very appealing atmosphere. Promptly seated and served. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and our server Nancy provided us with first class service. If only all customer service was as good as hers.... I will be coming back for seconds!!

They were following safety protocols for covid protection. The staff was courteous, professional and very helpful and attentive. The order was served promptly. The food was hot and delicious. Lots of coffee and smiles. Loved it and will make it a regular Sunday morning stop.

Imagine a very upscale Denny's complete with senior menu, except the food is good and there is a bar. The side of vegetables appeared to be fresh, totally exceeded expectations. The mashed potatoes were creamy and smothered in a lovely dark gravy and sauteed onions. The dining room has a fireplace, waitresses are nice. At lunch the day I was there the clientele skewed heavily towards seniors; not sure if that reflects the local demographic. I'd go again but I might have trouble talking myself out of another slice of the coconut crean pie

I work there, and get free dinner, and toast for lunch. I enjoy working there, and also good food, and not have to worry about making dinner at my house when I am done working there. Nice staff there to talk to and learn new experiences or old experiences from past restaurants. I have worked in restaurants since 2006,and last time I worked at one was in 2010 winter. I am glad that 10 years later I got back in the industry.
