Friendship Chinese Restaurant

This is one of our favorite places to purchase Chinese Food from. The prices are good, the portions are large (if dinning in you can not close the containers they are so full), the rice is tender like a meat, and the service is fast and friendly. Also, it is the first one I personally have found that offers chicken pieces (chicken balls) with very little batter on them. Delicious! They also offer a bonus to purchases that are over $35 dollars. You get to select from a free order of chicken fried rice, 6 large spring rolls, or 10 small spring rolls. The 4 out of 5 stars is because I am not sure if they use MSG. I say this because I do not see anything saying they do not and some of the dishes are very sweet and salty. However,if you are going to cheat on healthy eating, this is a great place to go. You may be able to ask them to reduce the amount of sauces used, I will try this on our next visit. The photos: Chicken Fried Rice with Broccoli (Lunch Special $7.99 because it was after hours specified for $6.99). Cantonese Chow Mein (yes...there is noodles under the mound of vegetables, shrimp (seafood) and meat. Orange chicken, and BBQ Beef (very sweet sauce), battered chicken pieces, and large spring rolls. This restaurant offers decent Canadian Chinese food, your standard sweet sour chicken balls, general tao chicken and other westernized Chinese fair. Your not going to get any authentic Chinese fair but if your looking for regular Chinese take out, this place offers good value for your money. Good portions and food is fairly good. Nothing spectacular but decent and good value for your dollar.

Delicious! Good pricing + large portions. We went to pick up our food and it was ready in time and it stayed hot for the whole ride back. We got the beef lo mein and the general tao chicken.
